Question for Panasonic 32LXD70/700 owners
First of all I am considering getting the LXD700 and wondered whether this a good choice for SD pictures and DVD?
Also I need an upscaling DVD Player to go with it and don't know which to go for so would very much appreciate advice. It must be easy to set up and use. Thanks! |

My brother-in-law has the 700. The picture is fu**ing brilliant and the basta*d paid a lot less than I did for its predecessor's predecessor. Or was that its predecessor's predecessor's predecessor, the "52" which is pretty damned good.
I was watching SD on the 700 the other evening and was convinced it was HD until I realised he has no HD source. Go for it! |

Why?, the TV already has it's own upscaler - and presumably, as it's an expensive TV from a very reputable manufacturer, it will be a good one.

That is great news! Well not that he paid less than you did for the predessor'rs predessor's predecessor!
Do you know what DVD Player, if any, he uses with it? I have a Panny DVD/ HD and Sony dedicated DVD player - see my PM, but the picture is great on my TV. Both use component feeds. |
