90% of the time for the pro...

If you all are only voting for your favourite pro regardless of the celebs performance then it kind of defeats the object of the programme doesn't it?

I can understand wanting to support your teacher but if some celebs are doing really well but with non- popular celebs then they may as well just show Come Dancing and let you all vote and vote and vote!

usually the pro at least at the start - ie Brendan to keep him in as long as.. but as it goes on will be the celeb/pro partnership. The men all left me cold tonight - tho Dom was fun and there was some good hip action from a few of the boys but they're not exactly a good looking bunch are they??? (First glimpse of Brendan brought on a 'Sarah Parish moment' tho! - refers to her character's reaction in The Wedding Date when she first sees the hero! - comment can be translated as "I arrived"))

Celeb and partnership.
I couldn't vote just for the pro if I didn't like the celeb and their dancing.

Tend to vote for whoever I liked best on the night...

If I didn't like a dance then I'll usually vote for Brendan or Anton or a celeb I like or know of ... Sometimes I go mad and vote for a mix ...

Both of them. I have my favourite pros and there's some I just can't bring myself to support. However if my favourite pro is with a crap celeb then whilst I'm pleased if they stay in I'm pretty pragmatic if they go out. I tend not to vote for them if they're rubbish too.

i'm really willing Nicole & Ian to do well this year, celeb wise i want dom to be in to the final and penny & kelly. i don't have one favourite, i'll probably vote for the 3 of them.

Don't vote - or participate in any TV / radio phone-ins for that matter - but it's about the partnership for me.

I have to confess to voting for Anton last year even though I couldn't stand Jan Ravens. But once my favourite pro has gone, I try to vote for favourite dance.

It's surely about the partnership.

The pro dancer may be good but if they've got a useless, lumbering celebrity on the floor with them then I'm not going to vote for their dance.

Has to be partnership for me. Rarely vote for the pro, I have to like the celeb they are with to vote for them.

I try to vote on performance on the night. (should have smilie with halo for me!! ha) Sometimes if I really dislike celeb or pro that danced best on night, I just don't vote!
Human nature to vote for who you like.

On DWTS, did I hear correctly that there is a limit to number of votes per phone line?? How does that work and wouldn't that be fairer here?? (Although CIN would lose out.)

I vote for the dancing, although I like Lilia, Darren , Brendan and Ian...I would not vote for them if I didn't think they deserved it. My favourite last night was Lilia and Dominic, so they got my vote.

It's limited to how many couples are in the competition, also their votes are free. They can vote on the net (also limited number of votes). So if someone really wanted to bother they could sign up under a huge number of email addresses

I like Brendan,Anton ,Matt Cutler and Ian so am likely to give much more attention to them at least at first..I would always give a vote for Brendan but also allocate one for the dance I think is best of the night and the one that entertains most..if I'm lucky all these coincide

last night as no Brendan dance I went for Willie Thorne and John Barnes

Good point about the one that entertains the most - not always the 'best' dance, usually IMO the most entertaining takes precedence over best technical.

You are quite right about being entertaining, that is where my vote will always go and why I voted for Lilia and Dominic last night. I don't do technical ..
