Vhs Is Better Than Dvd ?
As its lost on the CULT section I thought home cinema fans of discerning quality would like a giggle.
I've posted 2 PM's I received from the OP of the linked thread regarding VHS/DVD. It is Saturday night so he could be drunk. What do you think? Post 11 onwards. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...8#post18495348 |

He did have one point that was partially valid.
Some of the very early CDs had some problems where the glue/laquer wasn't right, and the surface of the CD would start to corrode, rendering them unplayable. I have a couple of CD's where this is in evidence, and also some laser discs where the same is happening. BUT, it is only happening on a very few disks, certainly not ALL of them! |
