Nah later than that. The results had to be verified and then there's the rest of the 45minute show to fit in before we find out who leaves. It couldn't have been over any earlier than 9:45 at very least. I suspect, given how long we waited for someone to tell us the result it was later.

Totally agree, claire - we need to make it very clear to anyone that posts spoilers outside the specific thread that it's not on. I suspect there will be a lot of us avoiding the boards altogether on Sunday, which is a shame, because it's so much fun to dissect everything on your day off!

You couldn't come in DS full stop, as on the Entertainment Zone Forums page, the last post was endlessly in a Karen thread - so even without hearing the SPOILER elsewhere and with completely avoiding coming into the pink and fluffy forum, it was blinking obvious.

At least if it was ONLY in the spoiler thread, the only heading you would see was SPOILER, which funnily is easy to avoid

I agree with all that has been said........Unfortunately were human and we love to gossip and moan so there will always be someone who will spill the beans. I for one will not be discussing the results in any thread other than the dedicated results spoiler

Good lord what is wrong with some people! We never have this many problems with spoilers on the rest of the board.

The DS Spoiler policy says this:

"Posting spoiler material in an inappropriate thread is regarded as disruptive and dealt with accordingly (usually in the form of a temporary ban or, if it happens repeatedly, a permanent ban). This may seem draconian but the posting of spoilers in inappropriate locations can spoil the enjoyment of a programme for a large number of people."

So I'd say just starting reporting those who are doing it and hopefully they'll quickly learn.”

I had no idea such a rule existed as I'm sure lots of people didnt. People keep talking as if this forum is one big clique "Can we", I'm sure with Strictly just starting for another run, I'm sure this forum must get a lot of new posters, I certainly hope so and you cannot expect everyone to behave as we would like.
I agree a sticky thread from the Mods at the top would be a good idea.

It is common practice on ANY forum and I certainly think you can expect people to not go around blabbing the results in other threads. It's nothing brain taxing just common courtesy.
