Hi Guys, a friend has recently bought a 32" LG, not sure opf the model number, but as I was thinking of buying a similar myself, was interested in checking out the PQ. Seemed pretty good, but his son was watching a simpsons DVD, and i noticed jagged edges arround the characters. A bit difficult to explain, but I would find this abit annoying initially. So is this because of the settings, or the PQ in general?

I recently got the LG 32LC56 and am delighted with the picture quality. I haven't noticed any jaggedness in images on Simpsons DVD on my RH177 DVD (I just stuck on a Season 2 DVD to check as I would have expected the older episodes to be less designed for viewing on a large screen).

May be the settings.

is there like optimal settings for the LCD, you know for the contrast, sharpness etc, or is it just a case of experimenting?
Maybe it was the specific DVD player he was playing on. TBH it was only noticeable on static shots
