Why?

Why can people not talk about who leaves until after the show has aired.

It spoils the enjoyment of it

I have found out now

There is no way the BBC can prevent the results being leaked. The press will always know who has been eliminated.Unfortunately it`s going to be a case of locking yourself in a dark room on Sunday and not reading the papers or switching on your computer.

This is why it's such a bad idea. Takes all the excitement out of watching the results now. If BBC are hoping to get a ratings winner with having another does of SCD on a Sunday they will be mistaken. Why bother to tune in when you know the result?!

i m glad i know the results - i'm just too curious to wait and i don't see what the big deal is anyway imho.

if it was on as a sat asper usual i would sit through the group dance and probably enjoy it very much but i wouldn't tune in once i know the result as to me that's all i really need to know - the group dance is a side issue. If there's nothing else on or i'm not busy i'll watch it tho.

TV Queen, it is terrible, but you can only blame the BBC for this, not the people who are discussing the result.

Don't like results on Sundays - not unless it done live ala DWTS. Even then prefer the Sat nite revelation.
This recording it but showing it next day is a bit sad.

It's inevitable, I'm afraid.

It only takes one person to find out the result and the word will soon be out.

Look, nothing you say or do is going to change their decision, so why not just put up and shut up?

I'm not happy about it either, but I don't go round nearly every thread whining about it.

And if you don't want to know the result, don't look at the thread handily titled 'Results show spoiler' or similar. Of course if a few selfish small minded individuals choose to post the result elsewhere, thats different.

The BBC want to cash in on the show's popularity and attempt to attract high viewing figures for the Sunday slot .
It's not to do with vote counting at all , though they have stopped the voting in the week . I guess not that many actually voted midweek and so it won't affect CIN significantly .
The only reason to change it would be if viewing numbers were low .

I think I shall be staying off the forums and Facebook every week until after the results have been aired.

I do hope that they di the results of the final live live.

I would imagine they would get better ratings on a Saturday night than a Sunday. It kind of goes off the boil...

I didn't know because I stayed off these forums today. I didn;t even watch tonights full show, just caught Karen & Mark dancing then turned it over just before the end & was so surprised to see Karen & Brian in the bottom two.

I also don't read the papers so watching the show tonight was a surprise even though I knew it had been recorded last night. However I was n't surprised by the bottom two, Hubby & I guessed & we were right even down to the loser. (Unfortunately cos I adore Karen but it looks like imo she was given the dud ).
Tbh I only watch the results show to see the pro-dancing which I love, the results I usually FF as it's too drawn out for my taste. I'm hoping it will be more like DWTS now & we'll see more pro dancing & singing than on previous series.

I managed not to find out only by not coming on here or reading a paper.

Sort of limits ones freedoms a bit!

I think it might get harder and harder for people on this forum, as the threads for each contestant will inevitably be full of posts on the results as soon as they are known. It will be impossible to keep the results to the spoiler thread, and very difficult not to find out by accident - unless you stay away from the forum completely.

It's going to be nigh on impossible to avoid finding out the result on this forum. Indirectly it will be revealed
Visiting various threads and reading comments like "I can't wait to see <insert name of couple> waltz next week". Read enough of those and you'll get a general idea who went, as most of the forum will know the result.
Or even is those are in spoiler tags you'll be able to get a general feel, especially if it's a surprise decision.

Well yea by saying it's not hard to avoid finding out I did mean just don't log on to here until the results show!

Out of interest did any of the Sunday papers give it away?? People keep mentioning the newspapers so I was wondering what was said, and if the result was ???
