Don't really know anything about her - but feel a bit sorry for her as she appears to be getting a roasting before she's even danced. Let's give the poor girl a chance - believe it or not, even pretty people can be good/talented!

Good post. Come on everyone, let's give the girl a chance - it's only Week one.

I agree - Kelly (and Gabby) seem to have a lot of negativity and they haven't even danced yet.

I agree with the posters saying that we should wait for a bit before condemning her so completely as stuck up or arrogant. Most of the negativity that I’ve seen is coming from what people have read in the tabloids, and we all know they make things up to sell papers. What we have actually seen of Kelly on the show is very, very little and certainly not enough in my personal opinion to make up such a bad picture of her. If she shows herself to be arrogant or stuck up or any of the rest of it, when we’ve seen a reasonable amount of her on screen, then fair enough, but I do think people should give her a chance before forming such negative opinions.

Just my personal opinion.

I don't read anything other than the Glasgow Herald, so I've no idea what they say about her. My opinion is based on what I've seen the last 2 weeks on TV - it can't all be down to the editing

I would`t believe a word printed in the Daily Star. That rag will print any made up rubbish about an attractive woman as a excuse to print the sauciest picture they have of the subject of the story:.. In this case Kelly.

My opinion of her isn't based on the tabloid stories of the last few weeks, it's based on many years of seeing her attempt to act/present tv and fail miserably and interviews she's done in that time. She comes across as a no-talent attention whore to me who has far too high an opinion of herself. I would add that it's not because she's beautiful (which she certainly is), as so are Penny and Alesha for example, and I don't dislike them.

One other thing, as she is so pretty, she's no need to flash her knickers all the time, and I could really do without seeing them.

Before SCD I really had no opinion on Kelly other than I thought she was a lovely looking woman who seemed to come across well. I was living in Canada at the time of The Big Breakfast Show so don't know anything about that.

Now, I'm so sick of seeing her in the newspapers and magazines that I'm really starting to dislike her. I don't want too but enough is enough. I'm sure guys are loving it but I'm really feeling fed up with seeing her all the time - she's starting to rival Victoria Beckham for non-stop coverage. If someone like me who was neutral to start with is feeling this way then I can imagine it's going to work against her when it comes to votes.

That plus the usual Brendan is difficult and demanding articles is annoying. These two, I fear, are going to be in difficulty if they don't get their publicists to rein it in.

I have to say I've always been fairly indifferent to Kelly Brook in the past, although I have to say that when she did the whole "I'm not going to appear naked anymore" then proceeded to appear in practically every magazine or newspapers doing just that it did kindo of grate on me.

Then having seen her present I thought she was more wooden than a park bench (imho) and her acting is not really much better so when I heard that she was in this and had come through extensive stage school training and had had loads of dance training in particular I thought "at last maybe she'll be good at something and nice to see her real personality rather than just a body".

Ever since, we've been bombarded with semi-naked pictures of her, her saying she needs to stay in to show her skin coloured leaotard - in the semi-finals of course!!!- how no one will vote for her coz she's too beautiful etc etc etc.
Still prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt I then see her on Saturday in a totally inappropriate outfit for training, constnantly flashing her wares then saying "oh you're naughty" "stop looking up my skirt" etc - i thought she was completely embarrassing tbh. Everyone else seemed to be having fun being themselves whilst she was trying to get all the attention to herself. In the other training session she looked to be wearing little more that a skimpy top and knickers. Then the hair flicking....don't even get me started!!!!!!

I really wanted her to do well tbh but from the first impression she annoys the hell out of me and I really want someone much less full of their own look and importance to win - Letitia (looks great fun and camps it up to the full). Alesha (stunning and able to move while smiling), Penny (who looks a little out of her depth but could be fantastic) and would love to see how Kate gets on - I think a perfect quote from her to sum it up was "Kelly was moaning about how she ALWAYS had trouble with her rumba, I don't even know what a rumba is, let alone if I have trouble with it!!".

I hope my opinion will change but right now, I really hope the other ladies show her that you don't have to flash the flesh to win this competition, you have to be dedicated. Or have the judges final vote....and that's a whole other story.....

I hope I'm proved wrong and she does turn out to be really nice...time will tell but the main thing is that the best celebrity DANCER wins not the person who the show feels will generate the most publicity for them.

Loved Stephanie's comment to her:

"If you were my daughter I'd tell you that one flash a day was acceptable"
"How many have I done? Five?"
"About ten".....

Put your pants away, love!

Will he? Aside from Natasha, he hasn't seemed to imbue any of his celeb partners with confidence ~ quite the opposite, it appears to me.

Give the girl a chance, we have only seen one show so far.

Backstage she seemed very supportive of the rest of the dancers and during the group dances she looked like she was really enjoying it, signing along with the band etc.

Johhny R ---- I think this is one celeb who's going to polarise the viewing audience. Women this way --men the other way!

She's hardly ever appeared naked. You're at least exaggerating.

I haven't been "bombarded" with such pictures. They must be pretty easy to ignore. And I don't think what she was wearing was "inappropriate". (She's spent a lot of time in California, and and that may be normal attire for a dance class there.) If it hadn't been for SB's bitchy comment, I doubt we'd even be talking about it.

I've never understood the allergic reaction some people have to hair-flicking; but we can add it to the list of irrelevant reasons people have for disliking Kelly, along with beliefs about her picked up from other shows.

Sounds like you dislike Kelly because of other shows and have carried it over to this one.

I actually thought the hair-flicking was because it kept falling in her eyes, and hoped that next week someone managed to fix it back.

I feel that people are being really horrible to her. No-one has seen her dance, and we have only seen a few short (edited may I add!) clips of her.

As well as that, all the publicity she is getting is hardly her fault, and I'm pretty sure that all the tabloid stories about her are exagerated- half of them talk about the massive rows Kelly and Brendad are having while the rest think there will be too much passion!

Please can people wait at least until she has danced before forming an opinion. True, she may not be your favourite, but that's no excuse to talk about her so disparagingly on very little information.
