In a totally unashamed way I am starting up this thread for those that wanna leave constructive comments for Dominic.

I'm his aunt and therefore have a natural bias but Dominic reads Digital Spy all the time and I think it would be nice for him to see what others think of his singing. As most of the time he previously thought we were making it up.

With my tongue firmly in my cheek ... please try and be nice but most of all Dominic would appreciate your honesty as if this is what he wants to do for a career he needs to know what people have liked and what they haven't liked if he is going to improve.

I am presuming that Dominic didn't make it through. If not then I think it is a joke. He was by far the best singer in his group. He was confident and showed great maturity. I was looking forward to seeing him progress through the live shows and thought he could win. If what I am reading is true about who got through, then I am afraid that I will not be watching this year. I am disgusted by the whole thing. Wish Dominic all the best - talent always shines through. I am sure he will make a great career in singing.

Dominic was the only contestant I have really warmed to this year, apart for Leon. His voice is just so natural and pure. He is a very talented guy, and also comes across as being thoughtful and mature for his young age.

I am unable to comment on whether he is through or not ... lots of speculation this year and the apparent 'leaking' of information.

I do think a lot of what has been shown is 'edited' to lead people to certain conclusions ... some correct and some not correct.

Today will clear everything up and I for one can't wait until to show airs tonight so I can say what I want! LOL

As a fan of the X Factor .... I'm loving Leon, I think he is a lovely guy, down to earth and very talented.

There have been loads of comments regarding all the crying and to be honest with some it has baffled me but nerves make people behave in different ways ... some it calms and others show it on the surface. I know Dominic was nervous but he just displayed it in a different way.

If Dominic didn't get through then I am very going to be very disappointed. He was great. Had something about him- as Will Young did. Don't give up if the eejuts did send you home Dominic.

Could always try again next year?

I am loving Leon too. He is someone that this show is all about celebrating. Dominic sang wonderfully last night and did not let anyone down at all. He is in my top 3 for that group. He also came across as a lovely, sensible and mature boy with a great look. Definitely going to be quite a catch for the ladies in a couple of years - unless he is fighting them off already.

I thought he was great. I'm amazed if he didn't get through.

I loved Dominic the minute i saw him in the auditions,he is a very talented kid,i will be gutted if he is not through,but then maybe Danni did him a favour.He can now get out there and get known without the x factor stigma behind him.
Tell him he is a very talented young man and i wish and hope he gets all he looks for out of music.I will keep an eye out for him.

Dominic is my favourite of the 6 remaining boys,but truthfully, I can't see anywhere for any of these kids to go this year, male or female.

Shayne & Leonna aren't likely to be bettered, this year or any other year for that matter and Shayne hasn't even got airplay for his new single, despite the fact that he was #2 on the chart last week.

Dominic is best out of it. He's young, he wants to concentrate on developing his own style, write some original material and keep plugging away at the labels and performing at samll venues hoping that he can forge a career through the normal channels.

I just watched the repeat of x factor on itv2 well the boys bit cos I don't really wanna listen to the sob stories anymore. Plus I don't really like the other groups as no-one stood out as exceptionally good in the other groups.
I reckon Dominic was one of the best there and I don't think he's had a single bad performance yet. Should have made up a story cos it seems that's what matters. I reckon he should just make a cd with him singing then send it to record companies or even set up a website cos he has an amazing voice someone would listen I'm sure.

Dominic is the only singer who has stood out for me this year. Lovely tone to his voice, an original sound, plenty of presence and he conducts himself extremely professionally.

If he has not got through I think it will be a real blow to the programme but not necessarily to Dominic as I imagine he will have plenty of other options after the exposure he has had so far.

I love Dominic and Daniel . Can't warm to the rest, especially Hope - what a bunch of desperate trannies.

He is my early favourite and until I read this forum, I thought he would be a dead cert for the finals. He's got a fantastic voice and just semed very natural and likable.

I loved Dominic as soon as I saw him at the auditions. What an AMAZING voice, and he is only, what, 14 years old? If he keeps doing what he does, he'll be a star in 5 years time.
Not sure if he's through to the final (though look at the spoilers, he isn't... ) - which is a shame because I thought he was among the best in the group.

To be honest Dominic, the X-Factor isn't really a great place to have a career. Just look at previous contestants. They are hardly doing well for themselves.

Unfortunately the X-Factor seems only to be a TV show and nothing to do with music and spotting "the next big thing". IMO it's simply a marketing device for Simon's production company. He's the only realy winner out of all of this.

Dominic, I sincerely hope that because of the way you came across on the X-Factor (good btw) you manage to get a foot into the music business. I'll be looking out for you.

Dominic is a really good singer. When I saw his audition, he was my favourite from then. He should make the final 12, and win, IMO. Anyway, best of luck to him whatever he does next.

Dominic I hope you do read this thread and see how much support you have. Like someone else said, apart from Leon you are the only person I feel has any talent that interests me this year and it will indeed be appalling if you haven't made it through to the finals, simply because you are so genuinely talented.
However I personally feel you are well out of X Factor- I hate what it represents and once tonight's show is over I will be watching SCD on Saturdays.
Well done to your aunt for starting this lovely thread and well done to you for coming across so well-mannered, sincere and purely talented without any of these idiotic tears and sob stories to try and distract the viewers.

I will look out for you in years to come and wish you all the success you so deserve- truly gifted natural singers like you are precious few and far between. Whatever the outcome of tonight you and your family should be very very proud of how far you've come in this sham that calls itself a "singing contest".
