I see Kelly Brook nearly quit Strictly due to B Cole and is nastyness again. This guy should NOT be allowed to instruct anyone. He has not a clue how to teach, only to make his pupil miserable. Year after year now this bloke is left get away with mistreating people for the sake of this show.

Quote: Kelly Brook threatened to quit Strictly Come Dancing after clashing with her partner Brendan Cole.

The model and actress stormed out of rehearsals on Thursday following an argument with Brendan about the way he was treating her.

"Brendan was trying to teach her a more adventurous move. He was trying to hammer it into her but it wasn't working. Kelly was upset and walked straight out of the building and into her car," an insider told the Sunday Mirror.

"Brendan accepts that sometimes he pushes too hard but he thinks he and Kelly stand such a good chance of winning that he pushes her."

The newspaper claims that Brook had serious doubts about her future on the show one week earlier, but was eventually persuaded to continue with the competition.

The source explained: "Kelly started to regret signing up to Strictly. She said it was all too much and she wanted to go away and take a break. She was really upset and said she was going to fly off to Barbados. It was serious enough for her management to get involved."

Although someone who was there last night said they were getting on really well together and with her fiance as well. So I'm not sure how true this is.

I don't generally believe anything printed in tabloids, but he was certainly nasty to his past partners which should be evidence enough that he's a crappy teacher.

Bad publicity is better than no publicity at all, as they say.....

The guy is just a selfish, moody person. All he thinks about is himself. Some people cannot teach. From what I have seen last year, the same goes for James Jordan.

^ From what I've heard, James Jordan is actually quite a respected teacher.

i would controversially say he's a bad dancer too - sticks his chin out and nods his head like he's going to butt his partner.

never won any big championships either maybe a couple of south asian things that not many people enter. He's totally overated.

Brendan isn't a bad teacher, I used to have lessons with him and he was lovely... He did shout at me at times and got annoyed with me when I showed up late and in a bad mood, but then again it wasn't like he was oppressive either, when I was in a bad mood he took what I threw at him...

The fact I can now actually dance 3 dances without falling over, stepping on feet or get confused is proof enough... Seeing as I can hardly walk in a straight line anyway...

I wouldn't believe everything writen in the tabloids and if you did then well Kelly sounds awful what with her people won't like me because I'm pretty stuff... And don't get me started on some of his partners ...

I controversially agree with this, I don't rate his dancing.

Teaching wise I expect he's probably OK really, just seems easily stressed and it all gets very sensationalised by the BBC.

I'm not sure how true that is either.....they seemed to be getting on really well last night and they both seemed happy.

I think he's a good dancer, but not overly keen on his style in latin. I actually much prefer him dancing ballroom!

I don't think you can rate his teaching based on the show. In Strictly he is in a competition and is driven by wanting to win as he is so competitive. I think a lot is exaggerated by tabloids, but I think it is true that there is no smoke without fire. The fact that all of his partners have said he is hard to work with is not a coincidence in my mind!

My main issue with Brendan is that I do think he is guilty of choreographing for himself rather than for his partner's ability.

That I agree with... He needs to calm it down, he seems to think they will be able to dance harder things if he tries to push it on them... And with a short period to learn it, it makes life much more difficult and less productive...

On the same note, I think pros like Darren and Ian seem to be able to work with what they've got and get them to their full potential.

Haven't seen much of Vincent and James to comment, as Vincent had a very good dancer-celeb last year and James had a lemon!

Cut the guy some slack...... his partners (even Natasha) have all been absolute drama queens, bursting into tears for the cameras and our votes ..... and don't get me started on the tabloids

Besides, if it wasn't for the public's reaction to the brilliant team that was Kaplinsky & Cole, SCD would never have come back for a 2nd series let alone have been sold all over the world .

Maybe you should get your facts straight before your comment!

Have you ever met the man? Listened to anything that wasnt heavily edited, i.ethe tv clips or tabloid media rubbish!! im guessing not....

the worlds BEST teachers occasionally lose there temper!
Even as a student I blow my top! its HUMAN!! there are several male and female pros who lose there tempers on a regular basis on the show! its stressful! they have never metbefore! and they arae thrown together for hours, days at a time!

I admire the way brendan keeps his cool, despite, the efforts of the judges, media to use him as a way to get viewers!

I thought brendan and kelly looked really happy, looked to be having a right laugh in the practice room, she gives as good as she gets!

like I said dont believe everything you read! otherwise elvis is still walking the planet!

I quite like Brendan but I know what you mean -lots of knee slides and that spinny around down to his knees thing - stuff like that!

Mind you, that may have been to distract us from Fiona/Claires dancing!

I hope James will show more of his humour this year. But with the over-competitive Gabby, he might end up like Georgina in front of that woman!

Imagine Gabby telling James off: C'mon you lazy cow!

I like James even though the BBC made him to be rather a bad boy last year. On the other hand, the only saving grace for Brendan was his sticking out for his ex-partner Camilla last year. Other than that, I actually agree that his ballroom dances are much better than his latin dances. Maybe it's his choreography...
