Has anyone experienced this problem with the Sony Rdr-hx 725.
I've had several (4 or more) recordings,where not a few minutes are missing,but anything up to an hour is missing.
All the affected recordings are missing the first hour.
All the recordings were broadcast on Channel 4.
All the recordings were set via the Guideplus epg.
Is this common?
Apart from manually setting the recording or using the Videoplus codes,what can be done to avoid this re-occuring probem.
Any help would welcome.

The cause of this problem with partially recorded programmes,appears to lie with PDC/VPS scan setting being ON.
It is the default setting for the Sony RDR-HX725.
Having turned the PDC/VPS scan setting to OFF,further recordings broadcast on Channel 4 have recorded without any hitch.
Hope this is of help to anyone facing the same problem.
