I swear about 30 seconds before they announced the results, all they said was this:

Bruce: We will shortly be annoucning the results!
Tess: That's right Brucie, we will soon be annoucning the results.
Brcue: Let's find out, who is out, as we announce the results!
Tess: Prepeare to announce the results!
Bruce: I am now going to announce the results!
Tess: Annoucne the results!
Brcue: The time has come to announce the results...right after this VT!!!

My god, that was one heck of a long show!!! They really need to trim it down to 30 minutes, maybe even 20.

I agree - was the first time since strictly started all those years ago that I felt a tad bored.

Agree..talking about milking a show. I doubt I'll make a point of watching again, especially when you know the result.

I was bored too at times and I didn't like them trying to claim it was a Sunday show and referring to 'yesterday' when we all know it was pre recorded last night. The live Saturday evening results show worked very well and there's no need for more group dances - I only really want to know who's in and who's out.

I agree, I really enjoyed it. The only bit that was drawn out was the final judging thing - they could speed that up.

I was impressed at the lack of repetition from Saturday- I was expecting far more.

I loved the fact that there was more dancing! At various moments the talking was a bit drawn out and I cringed at Brucie now and then, but as long as there's more dancing in the show then I'm not going to complain!!

I enjoyed it the more or less the same as usual Saturday results shows.
But there's no point in watching the dance off if you know the result. And if there are 2 bad couples you don't really wanna see them again
Too much talking to celebrities and getting their opinions, if they have to do that I'd rather hear from the general public in the audience like they do on DWTS.
Loved the pro dances, Flavia is really shining through this year

I did love the 2 dances, the group one and the pro one. They were what SCD is all about!

It did feel really slow, even in the studio!!

The only interesting part was the pros show number, which was FANTASTIC!!! I could see that over and over again!

I thought it was ok,certainly time to fit in lots of dances, mind you the celebs are going to be exhausted if they have to learn a couple of group dances each week as well as their individual pieces.

I think it was also quite good to get backstage comments from the judges and the audience, bits you usually only get on ITT.

I agree - despite my reservations (and yes the live pretence is a farce) I really enjoyed it

The audience looked exhausted- such glum faces from the Ramps family and Rod Stewart.

I thought it got tedious and cringe making - thank goodness for recording and the FF button.

What are they doing to the programme??

You'd have to have the patience of a saint not to lose interest.

Although i quite enjoyed it, half an hour in i was clock watching wondering when it was going to finish, a first for me when watching Strictly, i usually dont want it to end.

I agree that more dancing is good, but thought it was a bit unfair having the men learn a routine for the group dance on top of what they had to learn for the competition. Would have preferred 2 pro dances - a quickstep and a rumba so people new to dance/SCD know what to look out for next week. I think all the pro dances on the result shows should include the following week's dance, so there's some rhyme and reason to it all.

I remember thinking last year that everyone had such a lot to learn in excess of their weekly routines.

By week three I'm pretty sure everyone will be on pro-plus and practising about 20 hours a day in order to fit it all in.

I would prefer quality over quantity.

Yes, the "last night on SCD..." twaddle was really insulting. How stupid so they think we are?
We should start a campaign, complaining about yet MORE deception by the beeb.....

But yes, that results show was realy drawn out, and I was bored by some of it. And the fact of knowing it wasn't live did spoil the reveal for me.
