Are the Sunday Results show live?
I was listening to Len Goodman on ITT and he said that he stays overnight in a hotel on sat nite and flies out on a sunday for dancing with stars and comes back on wed
Am i right in thinking that both shows are filmed sat nite and results shown on sunday and that would make sense as voting ends at 9pm on sat night Can someone clarify this for me, it be ashame if sun show wasnt live |

Did they not mention in the original press release that it wouldn't be live? I thought we knew from the moment it was announced...

Yeah I don't think we've ever been intentionally misled. There are many almost live programs produced by the BBC - recorded a few days before airing. They always pretend it's the night in question though.

would have thought the fact that Rod Stewart was sitting in the same seat wearing the same clothes in both shows was a wee clue about when the "Sunday" show was filmed...
and the voting lines closing at 9.00 on SATURDAY...

The detectives on here knew straight away that Bruno and Len would never be able to do a live Sunday show and it all fell into place after that. I think it's a pretty open secret though as Kenny was in London and Paris within 15 minutes of each other. |

The fact that kenny Logan popped up live on ITV ten minutes later chatting about the rugby was another big clue.

I don't mind them pre-recording a show but why did Brucie have to keep saying we're here on Sunday, it was just so obvious they weren't.

It wouldn't be as bad if they just said 'in the performance show' or something. It's all this 'on Saturday because this is Sunday, and not Saturday - this is what happened. Here we are on Sunday, looking back at Saturday because that was yesterday!' malarkey that annoys me. How stupid do they think we are?*
It's not live, that's bad enough - don't pretend it is! *(err, on second thoughts...don't answer that )

Half an hour after the Sunday show Kenny Logan was in France commentating on the rugby and Rod Stewart would have been rehearsing for his evening performance in a casino in Portugal.
The BBC defended the fact that this was a recording, by saying the information was on their SCD website. Of the 7.5 million viewers of this programme how many would have computers? There's less than 2,500 messages (lots of complaints about this) on the BBC SCD dedicated message boards. So how many viewers would have bothered to search for the information. It's a badly disguised and lamely excused con. |

It should go back to Saturday as before and of course lessen the impact of the public votes which is now a complete joke!
