I have seen several small threads for when celebs/pros were going to be on other tv shows, maybe we should put any we find in one place so it will be easy to find them.
I think someone (for life of me can't remember who) will be on the Alan Titchmarsh show on ITV tomorrow afternoon.

I think Brendan's on tomorrow.

Gethin's been doing little SCD bits on Blue Peter each night it's on too.

There was a thread for appearances that's sunk
They usually turn up on the same shows, Loose Women, BBC Breakfast, Titchmarsh... etc

I hope people announce the appearances in Greytop's thread... No need for a new one...

Didn't realise there was already a thread - but, as I didn't I would assume lots of others don't know that Greytop's is where you look to find out about upcoming appearances. Maybe should put something in the thread name?

I think a separate thread might be sensible- not sure that everyone checks Greytop really.

Letitia scheduled to be on Paul O'Grady, 17.10.07 Channel 4, 5pm

Great idea! Then maybe I wouldn't have missed CRH this morning!

I know they appear on the 'usual' shows but I don't watch them usually so would be great to know in advance to tune in...

(No idea what Greytop is )

You will find that you will not always get an advance warning of when a celeb or pro appears on a programme, it is literally a 'they are on now!' message.
So it's an idea to keep an eye on these 'usual' shows, even just for a minute to see what guests they have on or even sky+ it.

Greytop is a poster who started a thread last year called Greytop's Everything SCD and posted every single reference to SCD plus all the Youtube clips there, so one always knew where to find out about what was going on. He has not reappeared this year, but some of us are trying to keep the thread going as it's a really useful reference point to find out exactly who's doing what.

Yes maybe, but more often than not a show will say on tomorrow's show... or advertise it in the listings etc.. so if another member comes across an appearance whats the harm in posting it for those that aren't aware.
Some of us aren't around all the time to keep an eye on the usual shows and don't have sky+

Thanks Force Ten

I only started watching SCD in series 4 and didn't really see Aled danced before. I only know him from his Snowman days and that he had a stint in ClassicFM. So pleasantly surprised that he's so humorous.

Oh, his training clips with Lilia were hilarious! That was her first series too, so she was still this Russian Minx to us before we knew her properly, and for the Samba training it was "Aled, move your heeps!"
"Heeps?"
"Yes, your heeps, move them more!"

You must check out their Samba to Tom Jones on youtube, it's very funny. Plus I adored their Paso and Tango in the semi-final - classic dances and such a high standard that year IMO.

I agree with everything you said there - I was shocked at how much I liked Aled! I only knew of him singing Snowman and being on Songs of Praise - and then as we go to 'know' him on SCD he was a real star!

eh? of course there's no harm in it
The suggestion to keep an eye out on these shows was just an "idea" not as the only way to catch the appearances.

They showed a bit of Lilia having a stronger Russian accent then, and saying words like HEEPS! I like that part when he said 'I am free! I am Free!' and then fled from the studio!

I thought that was so funny, and it was so unexpected for me for I really like him in another way when he was dj-ing in ClassicFM!

I think she's been trying to block her SCD experience out of her mind since 2004.
It doesn't help that Arlene slags her off in public though in an interview in the papers at the weekend.
