Scart Multiblock Problems
Ops_Monkey
11-10-2007
Hi..

Ive just upgraded to a LG 32" LCD.
On using my SCART multiblock i get poor quality unless I only have one SCART in the block at one time.
I used to run Sky Digital and 2nd Satellite system through the block and into AV1 with no problems..
Obviously I've never been able to have them on at the same time but I've never had the problem of having to unplug one of the leads from the block..

Any ideas would be welcome

Sounds like your scart multiblock just joins all the signals together. Does it have switches on it? You really need one that does and can switch RGB from any input to its output.

...........or does your new TV have 2 RGB-enabled scarts -could then have no need for the scart block.

Or just bypass the second box through the sky box as it's designed to do!

This is what I do, it usually makes a lot more sense than using a scart switch.
