Do you think they should let her do a different dance or would that cause a kerfuffle?

I just wish they had stand-in's in the wings who've been training with a dancer, so if something like this happens they just whoosh in & take over. They do it in the theatre with understudies.
I know that there are not too many celebs that would be willing to be a back-up, 2nd in line so to speak but if they paid them enough?? If they don't get called in they could do a show dance at the end in the semi-final.
I suppose it's just not practical, would be difficult to get someone or peeps would moan about them having an advantage/disadvantage etc.
But I'm so fed up with the sob-stories & dragging out the inevitable (if Kate dances she is a fool imo as she could seriously damage her feet long-term).
I am just so disappointed Anton will not be shown to his best advantage (again) as lbh even if Kate does dance, with her lack of rehearsals & sore feet she's not going to be able to compete with the "vain girls" imo.
PS I've just thought they could have one the DS posters as the back-up! Make a big thing out of it & turn them into a celeb - I'm sure someone would be willing to train just in case they got a chance
. (They did it with Chantelle on CBB).

But it would turn us all crazy, secretly hoping one of the pro broke their ankle....
They could have a very minor celeb on standby, and pay them say £7,500 to be a stand by. 1 male, 1 female.
