Whilst in the gym today, and battling with the evil cross-trainer, my thoughts went a-wandering to my favourite programme............
Saturday night! The glitz and the glamour,
The excitement, the sequins, the band.
Brendan and Kelly do the rumba all "sexy",
Maybe they'll get out of hand?
Kenny and Gabby dance with the Jordan's,
Husbands and wives at war.
Karen and Brian, though pretty amazing,
In the dance-off did not go so far.
Ian and Penny, well there's really not many,
Dancer's who are so tall.
Really no matter, she says her tum's getting flatter,
And they are both having a ball.
Flavia and Matt?, the judges yell "Flat!"
Flavia says "Go get some specs".
Erin and Willie, do nothing silly,
Instead they trot out some beautiful steps.
Camilla and Geth, the judges say "Yes!",
If only his hips move some more.
Camilla says "right", we'll work day and night,
'Till we both collapse on the floor.
Darren and 'Tish, the red dress was a miss,
But those legs? So very divine.
The Rumba "risque", but they think "Way-hey!"
'Tish reckons, maybe a 9?
Miss Beacham and Vin will quickstep right in,
Touching each other a lot!
"It's ghastly!" Shouts Steph, what a terrible mess,
But "Vincenzo" is really quite hot!
Anton and Kate, her legs are a state
She's fighting hard to stay in the chase.
To do her first dance, they've only one chance,
But Anton's her partner, he's Ace!
Lilia and Dom went off like a bomb,
The Minx on top form once again.
Dom - all cheeky and bald, cha cha cha Hot! not cold,
Will his next dance be the same?
Aleesha and Matt, have got it down "pat"
A Rumba sensuous, sexy and wiggling.
It'll be a surprise, and light up their eyes,
If they get to the end without giggling.
John and Nicole, were really quite bold,
The yellow outfits, flashy and crazy.
His footballers feet are ever so neat,
And his rhythm is not at all lazy.

But it's Saturday night, the wine's chilled just right,
And it's STRICTLY COME DANCING TIME!!!!!!
