If Kate Garaway is ever voted out - will she be more dignified than Fiona

What I will be interested in if if or when Kate Garaway is voted out will she go down the same road as her GMTV presenter and start claiming that is was "bullying". I can remeber when Fiona was voted out all you heard from her mouth was that she was bullied and that she now watches the X Factor. I remember thinking you were paid enough for participating, and felt that Fiona came accross as a wingeing wee moo. I hope that Kate has a better sense of style and dignity.

No, I don't think so. Kate seems like a nice, bubbly person, and she seems (from what I've seen) to get on well with Anton, so I think she'd probably be disappointed but would take it quite well. Fiona seemed a bit...sour? I don't know - like she resented having to listen to Brendan so she ignored him and then he got mad which made her upset and the whole thing went round and round in circles. I don't get that from Kate and Anton.

It was only because she wasn't trying, and Brendan was quite rightly furious. Oh hang on a minute, was it Georgina that was lazy, or both?

Either way, she was shocking, and irritated the shell out of me, so she can do what she likes. Silly moo.

Kate is great, so much fun, her and Anton are a legendary couple.

Well Fiona's husband wasn't the boss so she could not do whatever she wanted and be the centre of attention regardless of talent, and somebody actually told her some home truths about her abilities. So complete change for the norm for her.

Sorry, vent over

For me, the most undignified person to be voted out was Jan Ravens! She was shameful.

Amazing how quickly someone can drop in your estimations isn't it? I felt exactly the same. It was her comment thrown at the judges when they weren't the ones who voted her out (she was second from bottom in their scoring) that really really didn't impress me.

But it was so funny - such a classic clip that they showed it - was it on scd the 1st one of this series? Any way was one of my favourite moments!

I don't really understand why it would be assumed that she has exactly the same personality as someone who simply works for the same employer as her?

Whenever they have SCD guests on GMTV like Arlene and Len she always seems fond of the experience

I felt really sorry for Fiona, it was painfully obvious from week two that no matter how long she stayed in... there was no way she would end up a dancer. I should imagine she got some grief from Brendan, and then had to stand there on a saturday night and be degraded by the judges.. as said the most undignified exit was indeed Jan Ravens.

Because she is a hypocrite, did you ever read her newspaper articles about SCD, she was very unflattering to the judges, especially Arlene, and concerning her GMTV attitude, she would look very stupid if she had tried not to be "fond" of the guests and everyone would see what she is really like.

LOL she was truly awful. Isn't ironic how 'comedians' are the most humourless people in real life.

Though in her desperate desire to remain in the show, she unintentionally provided, for me, the funniest moment in the whole series.

She will forever be known as Jan 'I hope you're happy' Ravens. An absolute classic. I'd hazard a guess she's heard that line a good few times since last year.

You could see Anton cringing when she said that, how embarrassing for him.

If she had been a good dancer, like Spoony when he was voted off early, she would have had a point in feeling upset, but she was one of the weekest dancers

I doubt anyone would dare, her husband would threaten to beat them up!

Hi guysI agree that Fiona P was a truly awful dancer and she is not my favourite presenter - however I do have to say in her defence that when she did SCD her mum was ailing quite rapidly - her mum had dimentia (her mum has since died ) - Fiona did consider pulling out because of it - I think she should have because her world was turning upside down with what was going on - so I think she didn't take SCD as serioulsy as she would have had all been well

Oh dear, that was appalling! Talk about a sense of humour bypass - from a so-called 'comedic actress' as well.

It's usually the way with comedians. Off stage they're as miserable as sin and damn near depressives.

I can't see Kate pulling a performance like that.

Even Fiona was more dignified in defeat than Jan.

I was not talking about DIRECTLY after being voted out, I was refering to whenever Fiona was talking on GMTV he constantly mentioned her "experiences" in SCD and she even contantly mentioned how traumatic it was in her column, its not about the time she was voted off!!!! So can we please get this topic back on track!!!!

I expect so.... Mind you it would need Kate Garroway to turn on the judges with a Uzi 9mm to be less gracious than La Phillips.

Besides she always struck me as far more ladylike than the wife of the editor at GMTV

Kate has just dealt with it as best as she could. I don't see her making a big deal of it after she's finished with SCD.
After Fiona's dreadful dancing and Kate's injury I don't see anyone else from GMTV being in a hurry to apply for Strictly in the future.

What's the betting Penny Smith or Andrew Castle next year....or even Lorraine Kelly!?

What about Clare Nasir

Away from GMTV, Countdown's Susie Dent as Carol V has done it before
