Pipex cancelled BT Contract
A friend has asked my advice because they have a problem with BT and Pipex.
They Connected a BT phone line a while ago payed the £130 connection fee. Then she decided to get a Pipex Broadband and they said they doing a deal with phone and broadband. She told them she already had a contract with BT for phone line but Pipex said they would be able to sort that out for her which sounded alright to her. So now she had the Pipex for a couple of months now and BT have just sent her a bill for £144 apparently a charge because her contract with BT was canceled. Now that to me seems unfair because Pipex canceled the BT contract not her. What can she do now? Any advice very much appreciated. |

She gave permission (sort of) for Pipex to cancel her BT Contract though so she should make the complaint to them, they said they'd 'sort it out' so therefore they should pay the cancellation fee she's got from BT.
