Anyone else share my opinion.
She just doesn't fit in like the rest. She admits she only wants to do ballroom so why did she accept.

As much as I would like to see Vincent progress I think he should write of this series and not lose any sleep over it. To be dancing with a 60 year old must feel like he's dancing with his Granny!

If Kate and Stephanie are in the bottom two my fear is Len will give the casting vote to Kate as he'll want to keep his golfing buddy Anton in the competition.

I don't, in fact I'd put money on Stephanie surviving this week. They were fantastic on ITT and their quickstep looks quite good. If she has Jive in week three and has a bad attitude about it, that might lose her the vote. But I don't see her leaving this week.

I did notice her complain about doing the group dance and then say she only came to learn ballroom. It did leave me thinking what about the latin dances then?

I do agree actually! I don't think much of her attitude towards the programme as a whole, and that includes ballroom, latin and group dances. Yes, she may well be elegant in the ballroom dances, but in terms of potential overall I think she is the weakest. Whether she will really go though is another matter. It could also be Kate who looks unlikely to be able to continue for long, even if she does dance on Saturday.

Whoever goes though, it is a bit unfair, as many of the men are far weaker and should go before most of the women. I hate the men only and women only weeks at the beginning.

We didn't even see her dance for saturday yet, can't we better wait before we write her off? I do hope she and Vincent will surprise us.

Judges have the final say though, not the public.

One of Vincent's most ardent and loyal fans here - and, if you read the Vincent thread, you'll see that, alas, a lot of us agree with you

Despite Stephanie's undoubted beauty, class and style she just hasn't got the necessary commitment to SCD or to Vincent - in fact, she's pretty darn egocentric and selfish. Breaks my heart for Vincent but I reckon she'll go

I hope against hope that I'm completely wrong, but fear that I'm right

....just stating the fact that she is 60 and her ungrateful attitude isn't in keeping with the other contestants.

I do agree that for a 60 year old she's pretty fit. She would be more suited though to an older pro' partner IMHO

Is she? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I'd honestly never heard of her before the press release. Also I would have thought the popular vote would have saved Brian, particularly when partnered with Karen, but it didn't.

I think what will save Stephanie is first that her dancing will be better than people are expecting, and second that her training session and comments to the judges will probably be quite funny.

Being close (but not quite!!) to her age, we of that generation use a subtle put down type of humour (I guess I sound egocentric now with the 'we') that is self depricating but also cutting to others. We of that age used it as a defensive mechanism to cover nerves or feelings of inadequacy.
Sorry sound a bit morbid there. Just call me PsychoMegaDancer!

I think and hope that you are right

Stephanie could be a breathe of fresh air compared to the other female contestants.

Also I really do think Stephanie and Vincent will pleasantly surprise people and pull off a good routine!

I really hope people vote for them and they stay in.
I love Vincent and think we should give Stephanie a chance especially as we haven't seen her dance properly yet.

How many people voted last week, did they say? I wonder how many people are voting at all after the scandals and the change in voting. Last week was very unusual with the final last two being the same as the judges's last two - I don't remember that happening very often. I don't think many people who watch ITT would want her to go, but presumably most don't. But more important is how will she do with the judges? They are already in love with the 'girls' and they aren't going to mark them down (unless they stuff up, but I doubt they will, they all great in training). I can only, unfortunately, imagine the judges saving Stephanie if she is in the last 2 with Kate, and that depends on if Kate dances at all.

But then I thought Willy Thorn would go last week, what do I know. Good luck Stephaaania!!

But the judges will have no say in the matter if Steph isn't in the bottom two

Stephanie is a big star. She's a proper, elegant actress. They don't make them like her any more!

I think she'll stay. She has a core fanbase who will vote for her! And she has brilliant one-liners that always make me laugh.

"That Gabby creature can get her leg up!" lol

Jim Shelley in The Mirror got it right when he described her as Hollywood B-List. I hadn't even heard of her before SCD.

If I have to sit with my phone constantly voting for her for as long as the lines are open to ensure she stays,I will, just to show the Simonettes and people in such mindset as the OP.
Stephanie is much better entertainment than all the "Oooh, look at me,I'm so sexy, let me flash everyone because there's nothing going on upstairs" brigade *cough*Kelly Brook*cough*, she's hilarious, she's beautiful, she looked fine to me on the training footage, so as long as she doesn't mess it up I think she'll make it.
And I agree with the people who say she's a true star.
