And you never watched Bad Girls
I watched the first couple of series but being in Bad Girls doesn't make you Hollywood royalty.

If I have to sit with my phone constantly voting for her for as long as the lines are open to ensure she stays,I will, just to show the Simonettes and people in such mindset as the OP.
Stephanie is much better entertainment than all the "Oooh, look at me,I'm so sexy, let me flash everyone because there's nothing going on upstairs" brigade *cough*Kelly Brook*cough*, she's hilarious, she's beautiful, she looked fine to me on the training footage, so as long as she doesn't mess it up I think she'll make it.
And I agree with the people who say she's a true star.
She's come out with some cracking lines already.

Go Steph

Thats the spirit! I will join you in the excess voting

Btw, I am a Simonette and I am supporting Stephanie and Vincent as I think they will do well and are entertaining
I know some of us Simonettes have been feeling down about some aspects of Stephanie's personality but I can assure you they will all still vote and support the partnership.

Are you aware of anything before the advent of "Take That"

Or is that a little too early

So you never watched Tenko or The Colbys

I loved her in Tenko. Also, showing my age here but wasn't she in that series in the 70's "Connie" or something like that?

I'll reserve judgement on who I think should leave until I've seen them all do a full dance on Saturday.

I think Stephanie will do well in the ballroom and whilst I agree that it probably wasn't the best thing for her to say about not liking the group dance or wanting to do latin, she may enjoy it once she gets into it (just like Natasha Kaplinski who hated the dancing at the beginning).

I think we should give them all a chance before we say who should leave.

I think she is great and it's nice to see different age groups/ability in the competition rather than all fit/competitive people. Her comment regarding the group dance, IMO, was that it was more pole dancing (shimming) than proper latin dancing, less is more when left to the imagination!

Steph has also commented that while she wishes to get fit, her ideal goal is to drop ?? pounds in weight and for everyone she dosen't she will donate £1,000 to CIN

Why don't you read the previous message I posted on the forum when I mentioned Tenko.

Definately before Take That

She has a pretty impressive CV - just because she was around before the Spice Girls doesn't make her 'old hat'!

Mmm her character was called Rose Millar and she was fatally wounded in the second series.

Series was filmed in the mid eighties

Me too a Simonette and even tho' I am really worried that Stephanie and Vincent may be in danger, OF COURSE I'll be voting like a crazy person!! I want them to stay SOOOO much - just terrified that the other girls (boooooo to them all! - apart from Penny and Alesha ) will be the better celeb dancers No pro dancer could EVER be better than Vincent, of course

Here's hoping that La Beacham, as befits the Legend she is, pulls a fab performance out of the bag

Another here who remembers Stephanie in Tenko ...and The Colby's Stephanie and Vincent have impressed me most so far on ITT and i think their QS will pleasantly surpise people. Really hope she doesn't go ....but as has been said earlier don't think you can judge until you have seen the performances

I can't believe that anyone took Stefania's (love Vincent calling her that ) comments about last Saturday's group dance on Wednesday's ITT seriously. Obviously she was joking in her own special hilarious way. She had me in stitches. Lighten up people! And go Stephanie and Vincent, you're terrific.

I also think a lot depends on how the contestants come across in their training VT's. I remember how awful James came over in his VT's with Georgina last year and Brendan and Fiona didn't fare much better.

I doubt very much she will go unless she is a terrible dancer (AKA Fiona).
You forget the demographics of the show, mostly women watch & not the teeny-boppers! Yes they are getting more youngsters & men as the show picks up popularity but not as many.
Not only is she an icon to women of my age (& probably older) but she is also witty & hysterical. Vincent is very likeable too, so they are a couple not to be written off early imo.
Tbh I enjoy ogling her natural beauty, grace & stunning figure, wrinkles & all than any of the younger girls .

Stephanie has a very dry sense of humour.

Yes, she signed up to learn ballroom, but I think she knows that when we speak strictly of 'ballroom' dances, we actually mean ballroom and latin dances, am I not right?

Also, Jane Seymour is now 56 and she's competing in the US version of SCD showing now in America. She was fantastic for her age and even did rather well despite her mother's death (her mother was a big SCD fan)...

Stephanie should stay to provide some humour.

The problem is too many of the girls are too good and no one is as bad as most of the males. Someone will have to go far too early as a result. When its close and there are not two weaker performances and people with little story value to choose, I expect the voters will make it worse by voting on race, looks,CVs, VTs or anything else they can think of .

hi jacquiann!

you wrote:

I think this is wonderful - its so nice in today's age of Botox etc that you get a woman who is not afraid to age but who is still beautiful and has a stunning figure!

I used to look at my grandmother's face when I was a child - she was a very beautiful woman - and I loved tracing the little lines on her face with my finger as I sat on her knee - she seemed to get more beautiful with time.........genuinely so.

MUCH better than the bland blank looks that we keep on getting - its time to change!

(am 44 and haven't got too many wrinkles at all yet - but when they come, I'll take it like a woman! )

GO VINCENT AND STEPHANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
