Ben is currently contracted until 25th October...we will have to wait and see if he extends though.

Ian was recently off on holiday. Ben has been off ill and Elinor Collett who plays Penny has just returned from Honeymoon. There are lots of rumours but no offical confirmation yet as to who is going or staying after the October cast change.

Hello - as mentioned on here earlier, Ben is presenting the back stage part of "Hairspray the School Musical" and it starts on Sunday 31 August 7pm-8pm on Sky One. Here's the link again with latest back stage video from Ben, if you haven't already seen it!

i'm going on saturday- been once before and loved it- Ben was sooo good- i never liked him that much on Joseph but this part really suits him! Is he back from being ill now?? And is Leanne Jones on recently as i really want to see her again!

Hi Linzi I went and saw the show and spoke to Ben and unfortunately he's now off for a few days, so won't be doing to show tommorrow (sat 30/8)

Apparently there is to be a press release next Wed regarding who's going and who's saying. Well I'm assuming it applies to all the cast and not just MB related, although we do already know now he is definately staying until April next year.

From sources and rumours i think we will find that Ben and Leanne are staying until April

Tracie Bennet, and Terel Nugent , are going (along with about 20 in total)

Going to see Ben in Hairspray tomorrow night. I am really looking forward to it. When I last saw him in March he was fantastic and so lovely at the stage door too.

So LewisH how was the show?

It was fantastic, thankyou twingle.

We were sitting in the second row, right in the middle seats. At times I felt as though I could have touched Ben if I had reached out my hand. What a wonderful place to be. You feel so involved with the show.

The whole production is superb. So full of energy and the cast look as though they are having fun too. Ben was amazing. I loved watching him in March, but this time it was even better. He has such a twinkle in his eyes and a lovely smile that even before you hear his super voice and see his fantastic dancing ( ooh that wiggle!) you melt. There is such a sizzle between Ben and Leanne. They work so well together. Michael Ball was very good as Edna too. You really believe he is a woman.

I came out singing and my face was in a smile all weekend.

We went to the stage door after the show and met Ben. He was so lovely and my daughter is really happy with her photo she had taken with him.

It was a great night.

Pat you will just love it. It is such a feel good show. The whole theatre is buzzing, and every person leaves with a big smile on their face.
