It may be a cliche that men don't enjoy clothes shopping (either accompanying their partner or buying for themselves), but it's certainly one I conform to, as I find clothes shopping incredibly boring, and half the time, end up in a record store instead.

Is clothes shopping a chore you like to get over with as quickly as possible, or do you enjoy browsing the racks for new things to wear?

Yep, I don't like it. When I have to, I do it all as quick as I can, just pick the first things that look vaguely OK, will fit, and aren't too expensive, then run to the till and run out.

I love shopping for clothes but I'm not a ditherer. If I see something I like I buy it straight away. I remember going shopping with a friend who took three hours to buy a top. It takes me about ten minutes!! (I'm not a man by the way and my hubby hates clothes shopping!)

I love clothes shopping - especially when I have money. I once went into Topman, spent an hour looking around, trying stuff on, etc - ended up spending Ł150 in there - the most i've ever spent on clothes in one shop!

I'm completely selfish when it comes to clothes shopping. If it's shopping for clothes for me I love it!

If it's shopping for clothes for someone else, I hate it and get bored

Yeah today I was in a Cult Clothing for about 40 minutes. Spent Ł100 on a belt, skinny jeans, a scarfy thing (you know the trendy ones not the full on traditional winter ones). Every other Friday I go into town and just shop. Just walk in between all the shops and takes me ages before I decide if I want something.

Saw a nice jacket Ł175 but decided not to get it, might wait a bit before I decide.

Don't like online as much. Its good for getting designer clobber (ordered a Ł80 hugo boss t shirt) but I dunno, I generally need to try stuff on.

I would do if I could find a shop that I wasn't either too old for, or too young for...

actually Marks is looking kind of good and stylish these days.

And its even getting a bit cheaper too!

Can't stand clothes shopping, but stick me in PC world, a bookshop, a mystic shop, HMV or B&Q, I'm happy as a pig in muck.

Last time I went shopping for clothes for me (its easy when I'm getting stuff for the kids), I got so stressed I had to escape to Waterstones....and breathed a sigh of relief, relaxed and had a lovely time. I recognised myself in the other customers and felt at home...

I hate chain stores. Too big, impersonal, staff not really interested etc.

I found a small shop that sells clothes, not cheap, but worth it for the fact that the guy pulls out all the right clothes for me. It makes it enjoyable.

I hate clothes shopping, mostly because nothing ever fits me properly. Also I usually hate whatever is in fashion so it's hard to find anything I like in the first place.

I don't like clothes shopping too much, but I'm desperate for clothes at the minute and so may have to do a big shop soon, which I'm not keen on.

I love shopping for clothes (male right here!) and I honestly feel like I can't buy enough. And the women's clothes are always better in comparison to the men's

No, I can't stand it I hate it and even worse the queues for trying stuff on. I prefer to just go in, grab something and then leave

No, can't bear it. Would rather just grab the nearest thing and make it fit rather than mess about with changing rooms etc.

I can relate to all of that

Shopping for shoes and handbags though, that's a totally different story

If I'm in the mood, have plenty of spare cash and time, then yes.

Most of the time I feel like decking everyone who pushes into me in shops

Hate it. Really detest buying clothes. It's such a chore. I always seem to end up in HMV I wonder why!
