I am kinda guessing here that if the dancers did ballroom for their first dance they will do latin next ??

on that theory, next week would be

Jive

Erin and Willie
Kenny and Ola
Penny and Ian
Gabby and James
Kate and Anton
Stephanie and Vincent

Tango

Matt and Flavia
Gethin and Camila
John and Nicole
Dom and lilia
Kelly and Brendan
Aleshia and Matt
letitia and Darren

Have I forgotten anyone ???

merry_mead - Gethin and Camilla said they were doing the jive next on ITT. The only other one I've heard was Letitia said last night she really wanted to stay to do the tango, which would fit with your list.

I thought in the earlier rounds they alternated ballroom/latin - and the producers only changed that a) to even up the dances or b) later in the series.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I have read right through this thread and I couldn't find it.

What was it that all the dancers were chanting towards Craig. Bruce told them off but I could not understand what they said or what it meant

Thanks

They were chanting :

Go willie! Go Willie!

Supporting Willie Thorne -it looked like they had decided to do this if any of the judges tried to slag off Willie! It was very funny!

Was it the "go Willie" after the boy's group dance?

Sorry haven't read through this thread, just wanted to say that last night was first time I used the red button commentary thingy.
I probably won't use it again - I found it a bit distracting from the dancers.
However, that said, it was fascinating to hear the commentary especially Karen's = which was sometimes very different from the judges comments & their marks.
Karen is really very good at the commentary lark. Very knowledgeable, and her voice is good for this.

Yes I think it was, do you know what it actually meant. I got the impression it was some sort of Jibe against Craig.

One thing I really hated that are probably not going to be seen again this series, were the graphics they used to introduce the pros and celebs. They looked odd like something out of a computer game introducing the fighters.
I much preferred their previous way which showed the celebs dressed up in their work environment and the pro's dancing in some kind of concert hall.

I thought it was really funny. I got the impression that they had probably started it during the rehearsals for the group number and hey do it to support Willie against any judge criticism. Watch out for them doing it again backstage after Willie has danced next week.

I don't like that either, obvious blue screening going on, and it's not the best graphic quality, plus it stretches the people in the scene, the rest of the show is fine though.

Thanks for the explanation. Craig does have a memory like an elephant, doesn't he? And bears grudges. He still complains about Chris Parker getting to the final.

I have waited topostmy comments on Saturday's show as it's taken me this long to read everyone elses posts!! I have no life in October/November/December.........sad but true.

Anyhoo my opinion this week:-

Letitia and Darren - Don't really like the rumba anyway, and to be honest I did agree with Craig that it felt "cold". Hopefully she'll get her teeth into the acting of the tango and do better then.

Penny and Ian - Enjoyed their quickstep and though it was excellent. I watched it a second time and wasn't sure Iliked it as much! I like them as a couple and I'm sure they will get better and better.

Alesha and Matthew - Love these 2. You can really feel the connection between them. Their dance was my favourite of the night. I really believed the story the were telling in their dance.

Gabby and James- Well I hate to say it but I really enjoyed their Quickstep. James's choreography was very clever. I just wish she'd not be so, well "Gabby" It won't endear her to anyone. Everyone wants to win I'm sure, but there are ways of showing it in a less "it's my right to be the best" way.

Kelly and Brendan- Enjoyed theit dance in as much as it didn'tmake me cringe like most rumbas. However, I felt that it was a bit "dance by numbers" Yes they are a sexy couple, but I didn't feel connected when they danced. Also too much "girlie - who little me?" nonsense.

Kate and Anton - Blessher for trying, but to be honest I think she should have bowed out originally and allowed Anton another partner. Shecould always have started afresh next year. I know she wanted to be "brave" and all that, but unless there's a miracle I would doubt that they will be inmuch longer.

Stephanie and Vincent- Loved their quickstep, and was disappointed to see her go.

I reckon that the women (unless they do something really hideous) will be safe for 2/3 weeks yet. With possibly Kenny (Although I'm seeing his personailty coming out a bit more) Willie and possibly Dominic going before any of the girls.

I hope more people see the same thing. Whilst Matt & Alesha are my faves by a mile, poor Kenny seems to be catching a lot of flak on this forum simply for being married to Gabby

He is a lovely guy and not used to performing on or presenting tv like every other competitor. It was so nice to see Stephanie's reaction at the end when he picked her up and gave her a huge hug.

You are right Allyfree. I also like him when he was whooping when Tess was interviewing them. He really should smile more - it lights up his whole face. If he can loosen up, he maywell be the dark horse this year (for the men)

Maybe his wife doesnae let him smile that often..................

Totally agree. I think Kenny's great! The hug he Stephanie was so sweet. I do hope he's around for a few weeks!

I think he would have done better with a different partner. not that i'm slagging Ola but she's seems quite quiet and reserved herself so it's not the best combination.

I quite enjoyed their Rumba as well -however, it always makes me laugh to see how many knee slides Brendan manages to fit into his choreography. Ill bet theres a few more to come -

'Im the best at knee slides? Who me? Really? REALLY?'

Bit hard to explain but does anyone know what the piece of music is playing right at the beginning (not the theme tune) when there is a quick review of the previous week.
