I think Gabby would of gone well with Anton. He would of brought out the softer side. Putting her with the also ultra-competitive James hasn't done her any favours.

I hope Stephanie goes, but it would be fair if Kate went. I would like to give her another chance. But you could say why should she when others were fit and, for whatever reason, performed better than her..
I just dont think Stephanie has anything to offer the competition and want to see her go.. |

I think Kate and Letitia could be in the dance off and Kate will probably go.

So Gabby out! But I think if she was in the bottom two the judges would save her

I think Gabby should stay because after all, this is a dancing competition. I really cannot stand Kelly Brook but her dancing was fabulous and therefore I think that Kate was the worst dancer and should leave

Suspect it will be Kate if she's in the bottom 2 whoever she's up against...and that would be fair enough despite her brave attempt.
Dream dance-off would be Letitia and Gabby for me. |

Think the judges overmarked Kelly & Penny. NOT on personalities, but for perfomance only I thought Alesha was top with Gabby 2nd. Penny 3rd, Kelly 4th, Stephanie 5th, Letitia 6th & Kate last.
Think the public will really backlash against Gabby though, she really looked angry (maybe it was disappointment, but it looked like anger!). |

I'm not quite sure what it is about Gabby, as I usually like her and enjoy her as a sports presenter, but in this, both she and James seem to come across as very cold and lacking in personality.
It really is a high standard from the women though, particularly for opening night. |

Thought Gabby and Alesha were the best, followed by Penny, then Kelly. I think no matter who is in the bottom 2 with Kate she would be voted out by the judges so her only hope is to get enough public support to keep her out of there. Not sure who I'd like to go. Kelly is irritating the hell out of me but she was a better dancer than 3 of the others, so purely in dance terms she should stay.

I liked Gabby but think she may be in the bottom 2 as she is in the dangerous 'middle' plus she didn't come across as immediately likeable as some of the others. I think possibly that Kate should go as she will not be able to throw herdself into training as she is still recovering.

Alesha Gabby Kelly Penny Stephanie Letitia Kate In a way, I feel for Gabby. I'm not her greatest fan but she did a good QS and must have been surprised to see 7s when Penny got a 9. I'm sure she'll remember to paint a plastic smile on at all times in future as she did look really pissed off. Maybe the judges are all Rod Stewart fans? |

I think Kate will go, though Anton's speech in her defence was fab and the judges were so disrespectful to her. I hate the thought that she will have to do that dance again this evening, in pain and after hearing Anton being pitied for dancing with her. I hate this stupid dance off.
As for who will be with her, I always think the person who goes second is in trouble, so Letitia, with the costume department clearly out to get her, might be in trouble, but I really, really hope not. I thought Alesha was the best rumba and a lovely girl, but I don't know how well known she'll be among most of the audience and Matthew doesn't have the following of Brendon. She should be top of the leaderboard and safe, but sadly she isn't. I thought Penny made a tactical error in saying they started rehersals in her Hollywood mansion, but did a great quickstep, and personally I thought Gabby and James were equally great. I thought the judges were harsh on them, especially after Kelly was so overpraised (in my opinion) but Gabby made a massive error in reacting like they'd been given fours. In other words, I have no idea! Oh, and Stephaania was fab. |

Am I the only one who thought that Gabby had a dodgy head position, a bit like a nodding dog in the back of a car? Apart from that thought I loved the routine!

I'm still disbelieving that we're sat here on a Saturday night and have to wait until tomorrow to conclude the show.
I really don't like it, it feels all wrong

I think Letita will get more phone votes than Stephanie so it will be between Kate and Stephanie.
With Stephanie then being saved. Stephanie doesn't really attract a fan base, so may struggle with the public. Kate should go though. |

I didn't think Kate was that bad. I have seen far worse dances on first week in the past. I thought Letitia was pretty poor and sort her dresses out please, she still looks like a box.

I really don't like it, it feels all wrong ![]() I can understand why they do it in America as the voting needs to cover all the time zones on the country, but I don't see the point in doing it here, especially as they record the show the same evening. |

Olive I actually meant to press reply but as I haven't been on for a while and am a bit dense when it comes to technology I pressed quote instead. Of course you are entitled to your opinion and I was just trying to give my opinion as it if a free country after all, but like I said I pressed the wrong button. Perhaps I should just leave as I've obviously upset you. Apologies
totally understand about the technology thing i am the same!!!!!!! i can easily press a wrong button! ![]()

The show loses it's momentum and the tension build up by having the results the following day, big mistake by the BBC.
