I kept pressing the redial button so I kinda lost count SCD-O!!
I had the feeling that despite a good performance, Vincent and Stephanie would be in danger (the blasted middle of leaderboard!!!) and I really wanted to keep them in a bit longer for the sheer entertainment their relationship was bringing.

Bruce also commented on the boys group dance, which I thought was very painful to watch. I NEVER felt this way about a group dance by celebs before. Bruce was so funny when he said, 'What was that all about?' 'Judges you are not going to score this but I am sure you are glad you aren't!'

I blame that Salsa champion Chris guy for doing such a tacky, silly routine.

I was suprised Letitia & Darren were in the final two. I voted 11 times, and on a fansite I go on, we added up everyone's votes and it came up to 275, from just a few of us (yes, we're dedicated fans ). I thought the pair of them had a larger fanbase, but obviously not.

Have to say that I can't believe that they saved tish- sorry like her as a person but she was worse than Stephanie and its the wrong result.

What reasons did the judges give- can anyone say? I thought that Len was overly generous when he marked her earlier in the evening.

I thought that Kate might have had the decency to retire but clearly not so now we have lost good entertainment value in S&V for Kate 'Please feel sorry for me' Garroway.

I agree I am worried for her. I expect the celebs are under some pressure to keep going if they can.

I doubt they'd reinstate anyone, they didn't do when Tarby went.

I voted for them and I wasn't even Vincent's nor Stephanie's fans.

My sincere commiserations to all the V&S fans out there!

I thought it was hideous and did the men no favours at all.

Yes, I did vote. Admittedly only four times, but that's about the norm for me.

Well done Brucie. Somehow I think that may be cut from the Sunday show.

This result is so so so wrong.

I thought they were great and the show will be less for them leaving in my opinion.

Didn't want to see Letisha go either- should have been Kate

Tubby, I mean Tarby (!) quit the show due to health scare. Kate was saved by public vote. Now that she knows the public kept her by sympathy votes, she should gracefully (and for her own sake) bowed out and said she'll not quit because she couldn't possibly carry on with her injury (the daily mail interview clearly stated that this was what Kate thought so). She has more of the power to ask the BEEBs to reinstate Stephanie and I am sure that way she'll gain even more respect from us the general public.

But then again, I know I am living in a la-la land...

I have only seen the interview once but, having seen the articles stating she would pull out tonight & read some pieces about tendonitis & how long it takes to heal, I had expected her to withdraw gracefully. Instead, she intimated that she wanted to stay in the competition and would be better able to dance next week. I think she knows as well as any of us exactly how the voting public reacts to injury tales/ sob stories therefore by asking for votes she virtually guaranteed that she would not be in the bottom two. I, too, can understand her wanting to carry on dancing with Anton but the moot point is the "if she possibly can" - with this injury she is not dancing to the best of her ability & is surely only prolonging her agony.

The more I think about this result the more it pisses me off. Kate and her medical advisors know there is absolutely no chance of her making a miraculous recovery unless she rests her tendonds for weeks. I along with several other posters have suffered from this condition and we know what were talking about. SHE WILL NOT RECOVER WITHOUT REST AND SHE KNOWS THIS. Who will be the next victim of the GBP giving kate the sympathy vote.

If Kate had the courage and the presence of mind to speak to the BBC and arrange for her resignation before 6:45 pm tomorrow, I shall have endeless respect for her.

As it is I feel it is not honourable, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, for one woman to deprive another of a job, and then to have no intention of doing said job.

By all accounts, there is NO POSSIBILITY of Kate continuing week after week. Kate knows it, Anton knows it, her doctor knows it, BBC know it. Next week Kate will again be carried around the floor by Anton like baggage.

It makes a travesty of dance, of a nationwide show, like the Grand National which could not start.

Would it not be problematic for the Beeb to have a phone vote which didn't count? (which would be the case if Kate withdrew & asked for V & S to be re-instated)

If she had had the guts to withdraw tonite before the vote then all the women could have had a free week and then we wouldn't have had a problem with the votes or numbers left later in the series- this is getting to be a bit final straw for me now with SCD and I reallyh didn't think I would ever say that

We know the phone vote did count. Kate was OFFICIALLY kept into the competition. BUT for HER sake (do you want her to be permanently suffering pain for trying another week of gruelling dance training???), she should at least attempt to ask the BEEBs to reinstate Stephanie. Even if the outcome is still the same at least she'd have gain my respect for her...

Just watch Kate on thought she did great considering her problems, she's certainly looked like fainting

The public have voted her through and she wants to carry on despite her problems - good on her

For the record I can't stand her or Phillips on GMTV
