*lol* - I wasn't trying to make a comparison, just arguing the point that just because something isn't a hanging offence, it doesn't mean it's ok!

I completely agree with you.
But it ain't going to happen.
The cult thread is different surely - it's fiction, and it was filmed aeons ago. Here people are discussing something which has happened in 'real life' hours ago, so it isn't surprising they can't help leaking. And as someone said last week - it can be pretty obvious simply by the amount of traffic on the Pro's thread who has gone without even clicking on the thread.

I would love to come on here on Sunday mornings to see what others (who know more than I do about the technicalities) thought of the dancing and marking. But I have to avoid it all day because I just know someone will say something to hint what has happened.

So I do blame the bbc for scheduling the results show a day after the event. A very bad decision, and inevitable the results leak out, ruining the tension.

I avoided the forums on purpose in order to not see spoilers. And the some muppet put a reference to the results on their bloody Facebook status.

Short of staying off line for 24 hours, I don't see how I can avoid it...

I do understand that some people don't want to know the result until the show but TBH the only way of doing it is to do as has already been suggested and stay off the internet until after the results show.

I found out what the result was from a scrapbooking forum - never mind on here - so if the leaked info can get so far from a fan thread so quickly - the only way of avoiding it is to read the paper/ go to church/ go shopping/ have the family round for lunch etc - and generally pretend that the internet doesn't exist.

I don't go around posting spoilers but its difficult to avoid them - especially in a forum dedicated to the show in question.

Personally - if I didn't want to know the result - I would avoid ANY thread relating the the bottom 3 or 4 couples (including the pro threads) as well as any discussions on results shows or spoilers.
