In my opinion, there have been several uninspiring choices in the music selected. So much so I find it pretty hard to recall most of what was used last night.
I note on last night's second show, (sorry! I mean today's show) the featured singers will be a boy band.
The BBC are obviously chasing the "youf" audience, but I think are doing their main audience a disservice.
There are plenty of classic ballroom dance tunes of every era available and why not give the "house band" and singers a shot instead of "boy bands" and "bring them out of the shadows" at the same time?
I'd have thought the "cash strapped" BBC might have considered this a way to save some money too.
Or would they rather just bleat about how hard up they are?
