I'll join. So far she is my favourite contestant. She doesn't really have a sob story (as bad as the others anyway), she has a lovely voice and a great personality. Having said that, i don't think she will get very far.
She has a lovely voice but sometimes she sounds like she's shouting, like in her earlier auditions. But I started to like her at her final 6 audition, hope she doesn't go back to shouting.
I like Beverly. Please, please, tell me that she really is a school teacher who also sings in a choir. I really want someone like her to win this year.
If I find out later that she is Aretha Franklin's niece or something I am not gonna be happy!
She was around 12-1 on Betfair and has now narrowed slightly into 10-1.
I thought that was a big price but my worry for her is that she goes down the "Brenda" road. I don't think she will be as good as Brenda even with the scope for improvement. I think she may be too *sob sob* for the public too which will go against her.
If she starts to show some more personality then she has a chance. I do think she comes across as really nice and I like her but she needs to add more umphhh.

Hi,
I know Bev and I can promise you that she IS a primary school teacher in Luton and that she really loves to teach as much as she loves to sing. Also she has been very emotional on the show and all the emotion you see is completely genuine.
