My 4.5 year old made a couple of classic comments tonight that I just had to share:

About Leticia: Why is she not wearing a dress, when told it was a dress. No that is not a dress.

About the dance off: I don't want either of them to go, I like them both.

About the quickstep: I can do that but do not need a boy.

FANTASTIC!

And here are a couple more for you.

From a 13 year old about Kate: She should go home.

From a 4 year old about Kate: She looks sick.

From the same 4 year old about Bruce: Why is he there?

And finally ...

From the 4 year old about Westlife: They suck and they don't even dance to their own song!

I love them soooooo much (and no, not Westlife!)

About Karen: Wher is she, she should come back with Mark, after explaining that she was knocked out, no she should come back.

During the Pro dance: Where is Karen, when pointed out, no that is not Karen (the wigs really confused her.

Tonight my four year old sister asked "Is Strictly Come Dancing real?"; that amused me quite a bit.

In my house, it's quite the contrary!

Last year, my little boy (who's 5 now) asked me "What's your program called?"
"Strictly Come Dancing."
"Well no actually, it's called Rubbish Program!"
"That's not very nice! Why do you say that?"
"Because when you watch it, I can't watch Nick Jr."

Although I must say that this year, he seems resigned to the fact that Mummy will get her own way (for once!) and will watch SCD and ITT!!!

These are brilliant!

Can I throw one in from the other end of the spectrum? My 86 year old grandfather, who liked a dance in his day, after Penny & Ian finished their routine:

"I really enjoyed that. A fantastic Foxtrot."

Well, it might have been. Except it was the Quickstep.

From my 5-year-old, during last week's performance by Willie Thorne:

"His head looks like plastic"

Ouch...
