Halloween (remake)

Not as good as the original but Malcolm McDowell was cast perfectly.

The Dark Knight. 8.5/10

Normally I like a good long film, but this seemed to drag just a little. I also found Ledger dressed in a nurses outfit strangely fascinating...

Wow, Clint Eastwood must be a real fan of Starsky and Hutch to make a film about their car.

Shoot 'em Up

One of the most utterly absurd films I've seen in a long time. I loved it. 8/10

The China Syndrome - 7/10

I always love these kinda films. 70's American cinema kicks bottom.

It

After a friend telling my it was scary I decided to watch it. What a waste of 4 hours (luckily the first two were broadcast last Friday and the next two last night). Aside from not understanding what the hell went on I felt that the alien thing at the end was ridiculous. Whenever monster movies become about weird alienoid creatures taking other forms they become rubbish IMO. I'm pretty sure the book must have been a bit more scary (it was written by Stephen King)

That really freaked me out when I watched it as a kid. Haven't seen it as an adult though.

The Dark Knight (on Blu Ray as I got it for Christmas)

I think I liked it even better than the first time I saw it (which was on the hottest day of the year in a packed, sweaty cinema, and I was late and flustered), although it's still a bit long.

I've been ill all over Xmas so I've spent most of the time lying on the settee watching Alan Rickman films ...

My favourite of the ones I've watched is definitely Blow Dry.

I just love him in that ...

I watched Dark Harbour this afternoon ... very ... er ... strange ... I wonder what it's like as an actor to have to snog another bloke .... I mean Alan Rickman is so heterosexual isn't he? ... and I watched half of Perfume last night and gave up because the French guy it was about was soooo creepy.

I also watched Close my eyes last night but it isn't one of my favourites ... the sister is such a biotch!
