twilight - how disappointing... devoid of any pace, action, romance, emotion, understanding....such a let down from the book

Accepted - I enjoyed it quite a lot. I thought it offered an interesting view of the stigma attached to not going to university (or "college" , seeing as it was an American film). There were some cheesy bits and cliched dialogues but I felt that they were justified in a way, as it was the message that was important in it.

The Ballad of Jack and Rose - Surprisingly good film! A very complicated father and daughter relationship - strangely beautiful.

The Wrestler - I have seen wrestling films before, but this has to be one of the better 1's as it had a really good story to it.

Mickey Rourke plays the lead role, alongside Marisa Tomei who has hardly changed since " My Cousin Vinny". This film also starred Ernest "The Cat" Miller & Ron Killings aka R Truth.

This is 1 film I would be proud to own on DVD when it gets a release.

10/10

The Holiday.

Great film. Kate Winslet is a brilliant actress and I thought she captured the eccentricity of the character incredibly well (the bit with the "low point" is hilarious). I think it's great to watch this film at this time of the year , a real feel-good movie

Twilight

Quite possibly the biggest load of crap I've ever had to endure. Teenage girls all over this country are sadly deluded.

The Golden Compass - disappointing but then I didnt like the book either so wasnt expecting too much 6/10. Some bad quality CGI too for a film that come out in the last couple of years.

The Happening , where, ironically enough, actually nothing really happeend, except bad acting and a wind making people kill themnselves, which sounds a great story, but done this way was so boring i painted my nails. And Mark Wahlberg sounded really *camp* all the way through it and i couldnt work out why,.
