I think you mean Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, not 'Silent Jay and Bob', lol.

I just watched:

Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies - 8/10

Highly amusing in places, very funny in others. Perfect post work entertainment I've suddenly got a craving for a cheeseburger though!

12 - solid 10/10. It helps to enjoy Dostoyevsky to appreciate this one.

'The Messengers'

Visually it had some cool shots and not entirely without suspense....but generally badly acted, over-reliant on cheap 'shock' moments and it was far too obvious what had happened and what was going to happen once a very predictably 'not-what-they-seem' type character was introduced.

Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon 6/10 not as good as Red Cliff

Whale Rider - Recorded from BBC 2 a few days ago. Pretty good film... amazing performance by the little girl.

Alpha Dog. Good film - nearly didn't watch it. 7/10

Watched some of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Saturday night - WTF! Will watch the entire thing at the next opportunity.

Blow Up (with David Hemmings) - the first 1h 40mins - 8/10 but the last 5 mins brings it down to a 6.5, with the whole mind-tennis thing! WTF? Far too philosophical for 2am in the morning!!
The Brothers Grimm - 5/10 - disappointing
Ocean's 13 - 8/10 (the strongest of the trilogy IMO)
Ocean's 12 - 6.5/10 (the weakest in the trilogy, but it gets better with repeat viewings)

I'm going to watch Ocean's 11 tonight. I'm not intentionally watching them backwards, just fancied 13, then 12 and I may as well watch them all.

I'm thinking of watching the Matrix trilogy backwards too in the hope that it might make more sense!

School of Rock on Channel 4 last night. Jack Black is superb in his role and I always thoroughly enjoying watching this movie.

Inglourious Basterds - 8/10.

Isolation on Film4 last night. 7/10
Lunatic Dreyfus

North Sea Highjack - 4/10

Anthony Perkins holds two oil platforms and a ship for ransom and demands a Dr. Evil-esque '25 million pounds' for 'em. Few things date a movie worse than ransom demands...

Not as good as I remember it, and only gets 4/10 because it stars James Mason and Roger Moore.
