Black Sheep - this is not a good film to watch when you have a dog who barks everytime he hears a sheep...

I watched the Generals Daughter last night, very good film and watched before. Powerful and a good performance from Travolta.

World premiere of Mum and Dad at the Edinburgh Film Festival last night.

Decent film. Best one liner I can come up with for it is:

"The Royle Family meets Saw" !!!

(OK, it wasn't exactly a red carpet, swarming with paparazzi, type premiere but it's not often I get to put that in a post. )

We have Jason and The Argonauts with post film chat from Ray Harry Hausen on Tuesday ....

Ooh, I went to the same post film chat with the great man in Luton some years ago - it was awesome, he is a genius and brought along some of the original figures he animated, including the skeletons (I got very excited )

I went to see Adulthood today at the cinema, really enjoyed it, but also enjoyed seeing all the kids trying to get in to see it & getting turned away at the box office!

Watched My Girl 2 when i got home as it was on channel 5! Not as good as the 1st film but good Sunday afternoon viewing none the less!

My Fair Lady - perfect after a big sunday roast dinner yesterday, slobbed out and wallowed in Ms Hepburns general wonderfulness....

Irreversible

Ok, I expected it to be an uncomfortable viewing experience from what I've read about it but this film left me repulsed. I felt physically ill after watching it. I'm all for Director's striving for realism but I found this gratuitous and frankly there was no real need for it. What does it achieve? What do you take from this apart from a bad feeling?

4/10

" Miss Potter". Out of curiosity really. Have to say I was totally won over by it, beautifully filmed and acted-especially Renee Zellweger who was so perfectly English in the title role.
