How dreadful are some of the outfits on the show?

John Barnes is hardly a slim guy, so it was cruel to make him wear that bright yellow top, which made him look even bigger.

And as for poor Letitia - that dress of hers was horrendous.

The dressmakers the beeb use are undoubtedly only used to making/designing outfits for extra slim/trim ballroom and Latin dancers, but they need to realise that don't necessarily fit into that category.

And Tess would probably find better outfits in an Oxfam shop!

Considering Tess has the kind of figure that must be a designer's dream, I can't understand why so many of her dresses are so awful.

I'd love to know how much input she has into her wardrobe decisions - either she has terrible taste, or managed to upset the wardrobe department in Series 1 and they have been wreaking revenge ever since!

I seem to remember that Tess mentioned in last series her dress were sponsored and that she can't keep them. So it's possible it's not her choice.
