Did I miss it?? when i came on last night it was pretty late and nobody was online, a couple that were, were on GTA4 so i just played that instead.

Yeah I know, when are you getting it for the 360? or have you decided to keep it on PS3 permanently?

if i keep getting the freeze ups i am getting at the mo,it may be a lot sooner than first thought.

They are bringing out a PS3 patch in the near future for GTA4 if that is what your on about..... not sure when tho but are working on it.

The wife was good enough to get me a nice 32" Sony Bravia for my birthday. Going from bog-standard to high definition really makes a difference. Started a game of Domination on Backlot. Got into the House with two sets of stairs, one at either end. Had a look across B towards the building with the machine gun nest and I could see everything clear as day, even all the way across the map! Managed to pick off a handful of people from distance with the M16!

I'm sure this is old news to many, but I can hardly believe the difference. Sniping is improved greatly as well. You can pretty much see from one end of the map to the other when viewing through the sniper scope.

Have been playing GTA since I got it on Tuesday. I haven't touched my computer for 6 days and has been an addicting as hell experience. May come back and play COD 4 some time soon.

Was geeking out with GTA 4 offline. Worth the 3 year wait and can hardly wait for any additional content. Haven't tried it online.........yet.

Online is great, especially Cops & Crooks! I was brave enough to unmute everyone and was suprised at how friendly the GTA players are compared to COD4. Apart form one person who did a poor Borat impression for the entire game it was idiot free.

I still prefer COD4, as the ranking system in GTA is pretty shallow in comparision & the games get a bit samey after a while. but it's easy to just jump in for a match or two & then go back to the single player - which was the idea, I think.

You have to take me online sometime. I went on with Shadow, but instantly realised my error when he can't actually TALK to tell me what to do!!

Was very impressed with his driving skills though

I was having a game of domination yesterday and i killed the same person 6 times in about 3 minutes.
Can't remember the map but its the one with B in the middle, i was in the building that over looked A and just about B.
1. Got him comming down the alley way.
2. Hid behind the door and got him when he came rushing in.
3. led down at the top of the stairs.
4. Went down stairs & knelt right in front of the door.
5. Moved to the right of the door.
6. Left the building & followed him back in & knifed him in the back.

There's a tutorial for the multiplayer on your mobile which should give you the basics - I'm pretty good behind the wheel so I'll happily take you for a spin round Liberty City if you like (I might even manage to talk too )

I will most certainly take you up on that. I actually enjoyed being driven about. Was weird. First time I realised you could share a car was when I sped past Shadow and he jumped in!! He wasn't too long in jumping out again I can tell ya shortly followed by a message "Let me Drive!"

That would be fun. I was a bit overwhelmed with it too, when I first played it. The first game I joined, I was in the car as a driver & I was like wtf do I do?!

Cops & Crooks is a bit like Search & Destroy. If you're the crooks you have to escort the boss (someone is randomly selected to be the boss) to the escape vehicle - normally a boat - (or kill all the cops) & if you're the Cops you have to try & kill the boss before he gets there. After the first round you switch to the other side.

You only have one life, so if you die you have to spectate for the rest of the round - which can be quite entertaining
