That would be fun.
I was a bit overwhelmed with it too, when I first played it. The first game I joined, I was in the car as a driver & I was like wtf do I do?! Cops & Crooks is a bit like Search & Destroy. If you're the crooks you have to escort the boss (someone is randomly selected to be the boss) to the escape vehicle - normally a boat - (or kill all the cops) & if you're the Cops you have to try & kill the boss before he gets there. After the first round you switch to the other side. You only have one life, so if you die you have to spectate for the rest of the round - which can be quite entertaining ![]() Well I'm a quick learner Just need someone to show me guidance.Dragon has already offered to take me for a drive ![]()

You could probably pick it all up within 10 minutes or so. Didn't you mum warn you about getting into cars with strange men?

![]() I'm a shy person and would be totally useless at interaction with people I don't know. I thought we could all play together in a party. Nevermind ![]() I wouldn't take it back as the single player is the main part of the game - the multiplayer is just for fun. You joined a forum and started talking online to people across the country so you're not that shy. The people on GTA are not like those on COD4 as nobody, I've played with, takes it that seriously, - even the Americans are a laugh.

You can all play together in a party, as well - although I haven't tried it yet as I've only had a few hours on it after the COD4 game has finished.

Nevermind ![]() ![]() I'll give you a ride in my helicopter if it'll make you happy. I'm not really sure how to make a party in the GTA IV system. I'll try and figure it out. It doesn't seem as straightforward as the COD4 lobby system. I find GTA to be more entertainment than a serious online multiplayer game like COD4. I think it's far too random to be able to develop real strategies. You can plan and strategise (sic?) all you want but it all goes out the window when some lunatic drives a flaming bus through the middle of the battle. |

I was having a game of domination yesterday and i killed the same person 6 times in about 3 minutes.
Can't remember the map but its the one with B in the middle, i was in the building that over looked A and just about B. 1. Got him comming down the alley way. 2. Hid behind the door and got him when he came rushing in. 3. led down at the top of the stairs. 4. Went down stairs & knelt right in front of the door. 5. Moved to the right of the door. 6. Left the building & followed him back in & knifed him in the back. Will people never learn ![]() Who ever you were thanks for the laughs! |

I say we all chip in to get Shadow a new mic! We should all have our hearing back now from when he was last using one.

It's getting people to talk and have fun. Though it seems to be getting better now. I almost can hear you and Monk talks when he feels like insulting me

It's probably not all that quiet for shadows mum, he's probably talking to the screen just like the rest of us do when we play (Well, I do).
I fact some times I'm chatting away without switching my mic on (sorry minni)And I forget sometimes that "friends" can hear what I'm saying - one of the women at work gave her boy my tag when she found out I was playing COD - unfortunately the first thing the poor tyke heard me say when he joined a game was "ARGH! F**KING SNIPERS!!!!". |

when you are constantly being killed by one person, it is the most annoying thing in the world. He was probably looking for you but you still managed to kill him. I know I would be hunting you down and one kill would be enough for an own back
I remember once on Ambush, some git sniped me right at the start of the game from the opposite end of the map. I was on the high building just up the road from C and was shot by someone in the sniper building just up the road from A. Upon respawning I went straight after him. Knifed him in the back and then set my claymores, one inside the door to the building, the other at the top of the stairs. Que kills #2 and #3. By that point I pretty much knew he'd be coming back. #4 was me sitting at the top of the stairs and waiting for him. #5 was then relocating to just inside the doorway and picking him off as he came in. Sadly, I didn't get the chance for #6 as he left the game (and he was host - the git!). The second example, Broadcast. The same guy really got the jump on me, killed me four times in a row. He seemed to be patrolling the same area, the ground floor of the main building where B is. I decided to be patient and let him come to me. Took up residence in the loos, literally perched on one of the seats, and then waited. Eventually he came skulking through. I picked him off with a grenade launcher to the back of the head. It was that close that it didn't even explode. His ego obviously couldn't take it, as he too left the game at that point. For one kill FFS, fragile ego much..... |

Morning all
![]() Believe me it's just as loud here with or without Shadow having a mic ![]() The other day he was yelling loudly at the top of his voice in a sing song fashion something about BBQs, over and over again LOL I have no idea what inspired that ![]() I'm so sick of the mic deal, he broke his first one by n ot looking after it properly, then Minnimo was kind enough to send him one which promptly broke after a couple of weeks, and then we spent £33 on a wireless one which didn't work after abotu 3 days even though I've fiddled with it and tried to get it to work ![]() He spent all his pocket money on GTA 4, ( I even had to sub him some) so he is now saving up for another wired mike, so have no fear you will hear him singing and shouting within the next 2 weeks ![]() Just tell him to look after this one

Pinkvelvet - I take it Shadow's like me with those Wired headsets ![]() ![]() I told him not to get a wireless earpiece one as our neighbour warned me they were rubbish and would keep breaking but he was so desperate to take part in clan matches and contribute vocally that he was adamant that he was going to try it. |

I don't know what he does to them to be honest. It's not as if they are off his head long enough most days for them to get damaged LOL . I'm getting quite worried my parenting skills are lacking by letting him play for so long

I think he's allowed on just long enough ![]() Maybe someone here will be able to help you with the wireless mic. Took me a while to figure mine out!! And in the end it was my OH that had to do it ![]() To Monk! Double Choco Mocha from Tescos! Not for the faint hearted ![]()

It's a marvellous way to get him to make his bed and eat veggies/breakfast...If you don't I'll take away your 360
![]() I've tried to get the wireless mic working again ( I set it up in the first palce) but he's fiddled with it so much I think he's broken it completely it won't even light up now
