One guy last night was really irritating. We were about to go in to play Creek and he was telling everyone how great a sniper he was, how he was using UAV Jam and how he only ever took headshots blah, blah, blah.

I followed him around the map and kept firing off random shots to let everyone know where he was.

Incredibly satisfying, he got rinsed quite a few times. Sadly, he didn't hang around after that!

I have absolutely no idea how he knows Abba songs LOL

I do love Abba but I rarely play them, I shall have to ask him when he wakes up

Beat my high kill count by some distance last night on Shipment.

One of those really lucky nights where Shipment came up twice.

Got my eye in during the first game and ended up 55-17. The second time it came up I absolutely ran riot. Four helicoptor strikes and five air strikes. Ended up at 92-24. Always wanting more though I was gutted not to get the 100. Still, it beat my previous best by at least 20 kills.

Shadow showed us a really good glitch on Backlot last night. Have to do it in old school mode though. You basically fell to the outside of the map and fell below it. You looked up and you could see others. Then you could run to the very edge and fall down, looking up seeing a square get smaller and smaller... If you moved around in the darkness you could see a light....my OH said.."Go into the light...! Always go into the light!" You think I'm not wanted? (Heaven, Darkness, Lights for those who don't get the reference.) Was pretty cool.

Took us about half an hour to get started though cos old man monkey couldn't jump the wall (hehe sorry couldn't resist!! )

^^ I've done that one before. It's handy to make sure that you have a grenade with you from memory if you're doing it on your own, so you can kill yourself and get back into the game.

My favourite glitch on Backlot is the one where you go into the derelict building with the machine gun post. You can get out at the top of the stairs if you do it right. In Old School again. Pretty good though because you can get up on the roof. From there it's a pretty good vantage point to pick people off.

Speaking of glitches, someone managed to find one on Ambush last night in normal gaming mode.

I was in the building by A, the one with the machine gun post, and suddenly noticed that there was a red dot on the radar that was way off to the side. After checking the house I realised that the red dot was even further off to the side, undoubtedly, outside the map. I went to the top of the building and looked out of the window, over the area of the map outside the game boundaries, and someone was running up and down.

No idea how he managed that, but I'll be going into private match mode later to find out!

We had that glitch in Ambush the other night too. I don't think whoever it was was able to kill from out there though. If that was the case he could've just brought a sniper class and picked us all off one by one. So maybe just showing off?

As for the one on Backlot, if you just hit start and change team even if you're on free for all, it will bring you to the top again no problem.

Sounds like the same one. The area of the map he was running around in was the bit out back with the pylons in it. The edge of that map is all buildings so there's no way he could kill anyone from there.

You can get into some pretty good positions on Old School. My favourtite is on Bog. If you start at the bottom of the map, go out of the gateway bit and jump up on the market stall canopy. The way it's shaped, if you're in prone no one can see you unless they're looking directly ahead at you.

I can't do jumps on first person games, don't know why.
I always have problems with the levels on Half Life where you have to build a bridge over an electrified floor and then jump accross (they love to re use that one ).

Don't have an issue with 3rd person games like Tomb Raider or Devil May Cry - maybe because they have decent jumping mechanisms.

I think the perks & weapons are pretty good as they are.


All the weapons have their strengths & weaknesses & people who use martyrdom don't have the advantage of deep impact, steady aim or dead silence so that evens out.

The M16 isn't good at close range as if you miss or don't kill with one burst then you're dead.

Juggernaut is pointless on Hardcore (yet still quite a few people use it). So if you want to kill with one shot then stop playing 'softcore matches. .

The one thing I would change is to introduce hardcore Domination & Sabotage (HQ wouldn't really work). They've both been fun when we've played them in private matches.

My xbox has popped its clogs , God knows whats wrong, Just won't turn on, No sign of the 3 red lights, Its not the Adapter as Ive tried it on my sisters 360 and it works! So therefore its my 360 (I blame Oblivion ).

Something weird happened on my challenges last night.

I've done all the achievements for both the M21 and the Dragunov, and started doing the Barrett challenges shortly afterwards. The recoil was pissing me off so I gave up and switched back to the Dragunov. I think at the time I had about 4/5 kills and a couple of those were headshots.

Last night I was just flicking through the challenges for sniper rifles and suddenly discovered that I'd apparently got 59 kills with the Barrett, 20 of which were headshots.

I think, what's happened, is that somehow, the kills I'd made with the Dragunov after switching back, have counted against the Barrett achievement.

Has anyone else had this?

Also, in regular game mode, on Backlot, someone managed to get onto the roof of the derelict building with the machine gun post looking out onto B. I didn't think the 'up the stairs' trick worked on this other than in hardcore mode?

Most of me kills consisted of random luck and bullets, it's just that your character had a magnetic attraction to frags (at least I can find a bomb in a smokescreen ) .

Loved the pool, especially when I went to kill the nearby people. They weren't allowed into our little party because they smelt of clam chowder.

Wasn't just you so don't be worrying. (Although you DID do it the most! )

I play Domination alot and think it would be a bloody good idea to show at the end of the game if a player joined late.
It some times takes a while to get into a game & you may get killed a few times before you get going, which makes you look very shit when the game ends or on the other hand you may play a blinder for the minute you are in the game and nobody knows how utterly shit hot you are.

^^ Irritates me when you join a game that's finishing and you end up 0-0.

They should really do something so that you only join if there's 2+ minutes of game left, or if both the sides need 50+ points to win.

Also, while we're on gripes, I wish they'd do something about the map rotation. The new maps seem to rotate in far more frequently than would be suggested by random chance. Creek, Broadcast and Chinatown rotate in more frequently than any other maps in the game at the moment.
