Whats everyones favorite map? Mines Vacant
Is that because those who played the beta knows where all the hiding places are,and where the kitchen is

They all vary on what game were playing, but i absolutely hate the one with the rockets in the ground with smoke coming out. I quite like District.. i think its that one anyway, where theres a market in the middle of the map when you go down some steps. Vacant is good, but its always manic lol... as i previously mentioned though, its really handy on that map to have the shoot through walls perk.

Havent played them all yet, but I like Ambush (most dont tho) and Crash is still excellent even tho i have played it to death.

I dont really like Bog all that much, and Crossfire is a bit different but gets boring too

or it sometimes turns into a bunch of hardcore Clan members we are matched up to (like last night when we were destroyed 1000 points to 150 by a clan who had members that had reached Rank 55 and were working their way up the Ranks for a second time at least!!)
That was rather embarrassing last night, but at least we didn't run away and instead played them on a few maps.

I do enjoy having fun online with this game but I wouldn't say no to some tactics. Nothing hardcore, just like calling out sniper positions or when we are playing the game modes that have objectives then we should at least organize ourself's a bit.

I like Bog. It's nice & open so I can keep moving & pick people off (I'm not much of a sniper. Some good hiding spots as well.

I hate Shipment. It's way too small. As soon as you spawn you're either shot immediately or you're in a position to take out 2-3 people. Madness!

Also the one on the boat (Downpour?) is not great for the bombing missions as it's too easy to defend & an Air Strike will wipe everyone out . Pipline is a bit unintersting too - as there's no real advantage in using the pipe!

About 1am last night it started to become a bit more like that, there were only 4 of us online but we were calling out positions (as best as we could) and watching each others backs a bit more calling out if an enemy was behind us. The Clan match on the ship was a good one, although we got beat by them (and they were bloody good) we managed to hold our own for a long time and calling out positions or where to go was helpful.

I suppose that just comes down to experience.

Except me, who doesnt use a microphone. Thing is, as much as id like to use it, every time i play is when the baby and/or the missus is sleeping. I got shouted at last night because i was eating sherbert sweets and apparently i was making too much noise chewing/crunching them lol - she must have bionic ears!!

I was trying my best to communicate though, i remember on that ship map, i picked the bomb up and was running to plant it, felt like an american footballer, all the other team popping out and i was either passing them or shooting them, and i heard Chris say 'whose got the bomb', and i was shouting in my head 'MEEEE'.. but i take it no one heard it??

I think, for people who dont use the microphone, it would be good to be able to receive messages on screen like PC games, so if anyone had one of them chat pads for the controller, you could just type on it so were not totally left out of the convo/tactics lol

I remember a few times during the beta a few of us were like that one night. Made for some really good games as we were covering each other. I can still remember when we started to name the buildings on Overgrown, for example the "Crack house"

I guess as you say once we play it some more and get the experience we will be able to work well as a team.

Thats it, it has to be fun for newcomers and welcoming, but if it falls to a few regular experienced people one night all together we can try and push a bit better.

Like I said last night when we got beat 250 to 0 ....... lets try and push to get some points this time !!!!

Can she sleep through the sounds of grenades exploding and endless shouts of "We're losing B!". Or are you forced to use headphones?

I had the same problem for the first year.... had to be quiet and never use the mike for fear of waking wife or child.....

Solved the solution when the Beta came out......

shipped the wife into the spare room!!!!! Big double bed to myself and all the Tea I can drink thanks to Minimo!!!!

Do any of you guys work where there isn't a bloody PC to be on DS?? I'm so jealous

And I resent that remark about me being in the kitchen all the time now! I try bloody hard to get more into the game rather than hide (although crash I will always have *my* spot.

I actually had Chris look up my kill streak as I was so proud of it and I didn't think anyone would believe me if I told them. Can't frickin remember it now! Was something like 15 or higher. Those of you that have played a long time with me will know that was a major thing!!

See ya on there!

I checked it and it was 13 kills, however that wasnt at the end of the game so you may have got more before it finished!!!!

Mines only 12!! lol That only because i had two lots of airstrikes and helicopters after eachother cause i was in a great spot where noone could find me.

My missus has just bought 12 months gold account off ebay for £25 but it now, and is currently on COD4.. thats it, ill have to get another console now! Came on here cos shes so bad at it, it frustrates me. She walks into walls, looks at the floor most of the time and just asks people to help her all the time.. arghh!!

At least she's not good at it. Hopefully she'll get bored after a while.

I made the mistake of letting my g/f play The Orange Box after she watched me play Portal and thought it was hilarious. She's completed HL2 and is now onto Episode 1.

Luckily, the girl she lives with has gone travelling for 6 months & has let her borrow their 360 while she's away so I don't have to give mine up yet.

I just need to keep her stocked up with games until she gets back (although we'll have moved in together before then).

That was all I did at work, post on here and browse youtube. In fact my proudest moment today at work was when I found this video

Back to the topic; anyone going to be on tonight for a few games? I'm about to have my dinner so should be on around 8pm.

So which have you got?? big debate the other night during a match whether you had a 360 copy or a PS3 copy! Bets were on that you were with the Sony side of the Force because you hadnt been on Xbox Live for 2 weeks or so!
