Slightly offtopic but have any of you been paintballing before? Just been looking at places in Essex for Toms 13th birthday and some of the scenarios look like scenes from COD4

Varies from place to place. The higher amount of people going can *sometimes* bring the price down a little for you.

For the minimum party of 8 at one place it will cost me £320 and that's for kids

varies from place to place, between 8.30am-1pm or all day depending on the venue

course the more time you have, the more chance you will need extra balls costing more money

He knows about it, he asked me if he could go paintballing for his birthday which I stupidly agreed to before seeing the prices

I went years ago with my school at the time, was amazing. We even got a few games of pupils v teachers....it was a kids dream come true!!!

Can't you get the parents of his friends to pay part of the cost? It works out at £40 each so if they pay £15 their kid, instead of getting him a present, then it would make it easier on you.

I went with work once and didn't wasn't even close to using up all my rounds you get for free so went a bit mad on the last round. But then kids would be a bit more trigger happy.

He'd really enjoy it, so would be a shame if he couldn't go.

Done a game of paintballing on Wednesday with the college. My advice to Pink/Shadow is to wear thick clothing as they can hurt a bit - doing this would reduce the pain factor a bit.

Only problem is that I only went to 1 of the 4 matches due to the fact I couldn't see a thing out of the mask they gave me and my glasses kept steaming up.

Would probably go again

After month sof not playing COD4 I've recently bought it again for PS3 despite already having the 360 version and I'm quite enjoying the online play. I still can't really settle for one particular gun or class though I'm still always chopping and changing !

My brother showed me his P90 with silencer and he did so well with it I decided for a laugh to do the same. P90 silenced with stopping power, it was quite funny and I did great with it. So for another laugh I stuck the RPD on with Double Tap and jesus that was hilarious, started coming top or near top killer with that class

Did the same again with the MP5 and that was a right laugh but funniest of all was with the Uzi lol.

I've changed my playing style now so I can just sit back and play for fun and have a laugh with it.

Glad I bought it again actually.

M4 Carbine with red dot, stopping power and deep impact. A classic configuration, and still does the trick. I chop and change dependent on the map, but that class is the backbone of my online gaming.

I was playing the broadcast map on hardcore with a shotgun. I jumped from the stairs right in front of the bathroom facing away, finding two enemies with their backs to me that was friggin awesome, I just shot them both and moved on like it was nothing. I love moments like these on cod4. I wish there was a killcam though so they could see the awesomeness.

Also, would much appreciate everyone complaining about my gamertag in case you missed my other thread

I'm beginning to find a new appreciation for last stand I killed about 5 people throughout the course of the day from MILES away and got great satisfaction!

I agree with Hakz though, REALLY wish sometimes hardcore had a kill cam

Oh yes I love last stand also, I didn't know the pistol could shoot that far but it feels so good when they die from half way across the map
