I didn't have any problems last night....

Although if everyone else was having trouble, that might explain how I managed to go 36 for 4 playing Headquarters on Vacant

With good reason!!

Good Luck if it's your first time. Don't worry if you don't do so well. Remember that most of everyone on there has been playing it for many months now

Played it for a couple of months myself. It can be hard going from the start, but it eventually gets better and you will score a bit better.

Note: Spec Ops and Assault default classes are good starting point to get to grips with the weapons (and the grenade launcher and C4 ).

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My copy of COD4 has started playing up again

In game announcements like "UAV" or "Airstrike" will suddenly disappear and other sounds will cut out - that will then be followed by a disk unreadable message (sob!) at the end of the round.

The disk is looking a bit scratched again, so I guess I'll have to get it buffed up (again) and hope that cures the problem.

I've done that before, just for a laugh. Can you imagine the face of someone you've just shot as they see they've been sniped on that map!

Vacant is surprisingly good for sniping as well. Plonk yourself next to the truck close to A and you can look all the way across to the other end of the map. You can pick off anyone running out of the buildings/windows. Great stuff.

I'm going to see the mighty Iron Maiden (still Britain's best band ) tomorrow so won't be on.

If you're not all COD4ed out by Sunday, I'll see you then.

Yeah, sign me up (Hopefully my disk will behave itself)

I'm not much of a tennis fan and have plenty of time to kill before the Doctor Who season finale comes on...

Okay, should probably have kept that last bit to myself -100 cool points

I don't think you're alone on the Dr Who finale mania. The cult forum seems over run with stuff about it. I feel like I WATCH it just because of the titles that flag up everytime I come on here

Just a bit - I'm avoiding the DW forum at the moment just in case one of the spoilers happens to be true. Saying that though, there is a hell of a lot of outlandish speculation and straw grasping going on over there at the moment.

I'll stick to the COD4 forum, There days I'm more comfortable talking Claymores, Frags and P90's with red dot sights

To be fair so do I. I keep threatening to change one or both, but it never happens.

I know, going to try and avoid making wild statements like tht in future, as still struggle to get more than an hour every couple of nights at the minute, however determined to be online tomorrow.

That would be totally cool to see if everyone set up overkill and had noobtubes on both weapons and were only allowed to use them or knives!!

The other team wouldn't have a clue what we were playing at!!

Oh I likes it....
