^^ I must admit, I don't stay in there long. As soon as I've made a kill I move out.

Tbh, the only reason I do it is to completely p*ss them off when they get to see the killcam!

Further to switching loos though, plant some C4 in the other one. Wait until they gets in front of it and then blow them sky high!

I think we've begun to hit on a glaringly obvious omission from CoD's online play, there really should have been a taunt button! Oh well, perhaps in CoD5!

Being COD4 free at the moment I decided to give HALO 3's multiplayer another go last night...

Holy Jeebus its bad, or I am

If you think emptying a clip into someone to kill them on COD4 is frustrating well then doing it to every single person you fight on HALO3 is just soul destroying

I love the single player and co-op modes on HALO, but the multi is just not fun in my opinion.

Maybe I'm just to used to the "realism" of COD4, but running round blazing away on HALO just felt silly.

I've inherited HALO 3 from a friend who's defected to the PS3 so I must give it a proper go some time.

The problem with multiplayer games is that if you start playing it ages after it's released everyone else is miles better than you and knows where all the god spots/weapon spwans are.

Haven't played it myself yet. However, my Brother's main gripe about it is the jumping. On CoD4 you can jump around when shot at, which is annoying if you're trying to clip them. On Halo though apparently, you can jump very high making it even more frustrating.

Even moreso when they are 20ft in the air, armed with a rocket launcher and they're aiming at your feet.

Halo 3 was one of the first FPS games that got me interested in online gaming in the first place.

Just a little tip for newbies, use a combination of the Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle. The BR is good for med to long range (surprisingly good at close quarters) and the AR is good for peppering targets med-close range. If you need to reload, stick a Plasma, spike grenade onto the enemy and watch them squirm.

Is it me or is COD really starting to lag lately? Never had a problem with lag for months playing this and I'm noticing it all of a sudden.

It's not you. It's definitely lagging more over the last month or so IMO. Lag and interrupted connections abound at the moment unfortunately.

We played one game last night and we got connection interrupted just a few points from victory. Incredibly irritating.

New tactic utilised on Bog last night. Finished with a k/d ratio of 85:5. Started at A and took up a sniping position behind the container on the left side. Picked up five kills quick enough. Called in the air-raid to get the other two kills for a chopper. As soon as I got it I just went running towards their position. Died. Helicoptor came in and picked up another five kills. Que, another airstrike, which inevitably turned into another chopper. I just kept repeating this, getting the helis and then instantly dying. Worked a treat. Only died 5 times and they were all self-inflicted so that I could rack up another 5 kills!

That's what I do on Shipment but I don't get killed on purpose, just go a lot more gung ho.

I generally wait until I die before calling in a chopper on other maps as well - I don't see what the advantage is to calling it in straight away. Kill streaks don't win matches & at the very least you can get a free UAV this way.

The one problem I have with airstrikes on Shipment is that if you put it on B, it doesn't really matter where you are on the map, it kills you as well.

I tend to get the five kills, find somewhere to hide and then call it in. If I get the heli, it gets called in straight away. On Shipment it doesn't really make any difference when you call it. The one map where I'm more tactical about calling in helis, is Vacant. If you start at A, there's no point in calling one in until they start getting outside. I generally tend to wait and see if they capture A. If they do, in it comes.

I don't put it on B but in between the other enemy flag (f they have one) & B. Wait for some red dots to get an diea of where they are. Either hide in the container with one entrance, or right in the corner (depending on what side of the map you are) and you should survive.

After I get the airstrike & die I get 2-3 kills then hide & call it in which will give you another airstrike you can call in straight after. Then die, call the heli, rinse & repeat. It takes a bit of luck to keep the cycle going but if you can go through this twice you can get a lot of kills with very little effort.

93-13 is my best score on Shipment, from memory.

I tend to use the containers a lot, popping in and then out and back in them again etc. The other thing I like to do, knowing that others do this as well, is stand behind the back of the container, with an LMG and just rince it. The number of kills you pick up is quite significant if you keep doing it. It also encourages people not to hide in them, hence they're out in the open and more vulnerable to you, and the rest of your team.

Of course, the other thing with Shipment, martyrdom and 3xfrag perks are an absolute must!

Absolutely. Shipment is just an all out frag fest. It's insane!

I've just discovered the joys of Sonic Boom. Usually use Stopping Power none stop but thought I'd give it a go. My grenades become lethal and RPGing becomes fun.

Sob!

Still no COD4 multiplayer with my XBOX chums for me - Royal Mail only delivered my disk to the polishers on Thursday of last week so there was no chance I was going to get it back for the weekend.

So i missed out on one of Minni's all to rare appearances on the 360? Especially rare now that she's gone all hoitie-toitie and is playing on her PS3 more

(You'll disturb all that lovely dust thats been gathering on it Minni)

Fingers crossed I'll get my disk back soon and can then continue my snail-like crawl towards a gold cross

(In the mean time what about some 8 player Burnout Paradise everyone?)

Well that's me just got me new computer and for some strange reason, me router started working . Only thing is that I now need a network cable to connect up me Xbox o the router and I won't be on for a while.

But hey, at least I have a decent graphics card to play me games on!

So I've done all the marksman challenges for all the lmg/smg/assault rifles that's I've unlocked, so only have the shotguns and snipers to do.

Got to say, killing someone with a shotgun is the most satisfying kill I think. That dull thud is like music to my ears!

It's definately making me think more about my CQ tactics. I'm usually a more mid-range player, so am best with the assault rifles.

Anyway I'm rambling because I'm bored at work!

Yeah, shotgun kills are very satisfying. Especially when you get like 5 in quick succession. Makes you feel invincible. I only think about using them on Vacant or Showdown though. If you're in a big open space you're basically screwed.

Shotguns are a great laugh, especially in places like Vacant. Personally I just use the default Demolitions class and go mental with the W1200. For maximum joy, use Overkill and a shotgun and a P90 together

Also I am getting really jammy with my sniper kills, especially when I done a double kill with one shot from me Barrett .50 cal!

I bought this game today (for the PS3 so I hope you don't mind me asking here!) ,but does anyone get "motion sickness" whilst playing? During the first task on the ship I was almost literally sick, but thought it was because of the rocking of the platform, but the sick feeling seems to of carried on! Is this normal , or has anyone else experienced it?
