I'm becoming rather fond of my silenced scorpion. Only been using it to get to 150 kills but in hardcore it kicks ass!

I enjoyed this weekend too. It feels good to be chasing after something.

For some odd reason though on all my guns I seem to get up to the point of being 5 kills away from Red Tiger and then deserting them moving swiftly on. I dunno why I do this. But on the upside, there's gonna be one weekend I get all my Red Tigers in one go

In years to come I too will be able to say "I was there, when Woodsmonk virtually wiped out a team with one noobtube". Congrats monk, it was damned impressive.

My own performance over the weekend seemed to swing between the below average 6/7 and the totally lethal 24/2. I just wish I could work out what it is I did right in the better rounds

It was great playing with everyone over the weekend - i might not say much but I do enjoy the banter.

Now I get how the helicopters work (I think ). I actually got killed by the missiles it shoots the other day, I thought they were just for show until then.

It more or less targets EVERYone by that reckoning!

I think I prefer the theory that it targets anyone that is near the person who called it in.

The frickin thing can shoot through windows and there is no WAY it's seeing 50% of the body there, especially on Vacant.

What about that game on Wetwork yesterday where that 'snipergod' character got about 15 kills with his helicopter despite being right at the other end of the map? I think it has to be more complicated than that.

If you play on softcore & watch the killcam the heli can clearly see you through windows in the computer room on Vacant.

I'm not saying it's gospel but if you shoot at it it tends to shoot you back & it does tend to move around a lot more once the smoke starts coming out.

If he has made all that up then he has to be the saddest guy on the planet. A lot of the other stuff on there makes sense, to me anyway But then I like stats & always thought that the accuracy, damage etc bars in the game were wrong.

Looks like one of our PC modders from Japan, by the name of Qrysalis on our forums, has found and re-constructed the files from our original training mission for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Ah, brings back memories. As you can tell, we decided to make it short and sweet for the final version of the game, but I do miss some of that choice VO (voice over). Nice work Qrysalis, as long as you don’t find our Brokeback Snipers / Hot Coffee moment with Price and MacMillian … then we’re all good.

I'm hoping it will flick between HQ, S&D, Team Deathmatch and Domination - but have a feeling Domination won't make it.

They haven't said they're releasing a HC Dom Dragon? Unless they have and I've missed it. But all I've seen so far is complaints that it ISN'T included in the HC releases...

Taking everything to do with the new playlists with a pinch of salt. I doubt they'll be released this week, as there isn't really enough time for a build up / promotion of them being released this weekend.

I could be wrong and I hope I am because I would love to see them this weekend. It will make it a whole new game to play.

i doubt there will be much of a fanfare TBH - its only a fancy software update after all.

Unlike the DLC which we were buying and therefore had an advertising budget attached to it.

Minni and Dragon, sorry about last night, my connection went, and initially I couldn't get back on, so gave it up as a bad job.

Still don't understand why the kills were not being displayed, but I guess these things happen.

Am I weird that that didn't bother me? That the kills weren't showing up...I could see all of yours. Just not my own. All I would get was a little X. I think I emptied a whole sniper clip into someone who had died with my first bullet but I thought I had just put him to last stand
