I like the Mini-Uzi, but dear lord does it burn through the ammo!!!

It sure does, It helps when you have Bandolier perk, I was on a roll with my Skorpion on Backlot yesterday

The Skorpion rules! It's underrated. On HC it really downs anyone in it's path.

I find Mini Uzi too annoying to use without the Bandolier perk.

Finding myself becoming much better with the shotguns lately too. Just had a great game with it on Free For All where I got 2 helicopters.

I'm loving the RPD at the mo, (Don't really have a lot of choice though!) is quite accurate if you knock out one or two shots at a time and powerful too. Much better now i've stuck the red dot on it.
Never really given the skorpion a bash used it once or twice put couldn't really get on with it.

The only SMGs I can tolerate are MP5 and P90.

Odd one yesterday, dropped into a lobby where people were clearly having an argument. One lad, an American, sounded quite young was having a right good go with someone. Next game up was Creek. He did very poorly, aboout 9/40. The following game was Shipment and he only got 5 kills in the entire gamel. WTF? I've never seen anything like that before. How do you only get 5 kills on that map? I remember a game of Domination on there where we beat the other side to 0, but only getting 5 kills, is almost impossible I'd have thought. The game after that, I don't recall which map it was, he didn't get any!

Can't say I've seen anyone that low on Shipment either. If you have Martyrdom on you probably don't even need to move and you'd get more than 5 kills!

That is one supremely fun weapon of choice!!!!

Was just hanging around waiting to get an invite but seemed pretty busy, wouldnt even let me join your match. So decided to get some points on HQ to build up my rank and then got bored after an hour or so, so gave it up and watched a film.

The trick with the mini uzi & scorpion is to fire in short bursts, rather than hold down the button.

There is a small delay before the bullets register so you will have already have hit & killed them, with the first few bullets so the rest are just wasted.

It's probably the only gold weapon I won't be using as the MP5 is just so much better.

Love the MP5 (with ACOG). Use it all the time.

Some people are so insecure. Another example last night;

One guy finished top for about 5 games in a row. Started a further game on Showdown. Must have rinsed him 8 times in the first few minutes. Didn't see him again for a while so I had a quick check, and yeah, he'd pulled out. Also picked up some negative feedback at the same time.

I love playing the game, but morons like that just sour the experience for me.

yup,happend to me on many occasion. i used to play cod3 alot before cod4 came out but i sucked and i could'nt hit anything, but i still enjoyed playing and i had 100% prefered reputation.

When i started to play cod4 and started to do well i noticed my rep drop more and more and now its at 28% prefered.

^^ I'm at 24% at the moment. 44% of the negative is for being 'unsporting' which essentially means I killed them one time too many, and the rest is for 'trash talk', which is odd given that my mike was broken ages ago.....

I had loads of trash talk reputation for the first couple of years and i had never even plugged the mic in. The first time i ever tried it was on the COD4 beta with the DS people.

Some people just cant get through a game without having to be malicious about people that are better than them. I dont even care about my reputation anymore, and dont even have a clue what it is now.

^^ TBH, I've learned to look at it with amusement now, rather than bemusement. Everytime I see that it's gotten worse I console myself with the fact that I've obviously rinsed them to the point of being compelled to take the time out and leave feedback. Just imagine the tantrums that they must have had in the actual games!

When I think of tantrums on COD4 I tend to visualise 'angry german kid'.

I've been given negative feedback for trash talking, and never even bought a mic at that point. It's funny when I think about it.

And yes it is also funny hearing sore losers more concerned about their K/D ratio than, god forbid, enjoying the game. But for all the players you try to avoid, it makes you appreciate the kind hearted players much more. Recently, on Hardcore SAD on Overgrown it was in Overtime, the bomb was planted and only me and this 10th Prestige Lvl 55 player had to defuse. By the time I got there, the other player had killed the remaining 3 guys of the enemy team by himself. And with 10 secs to go, he told me to defuse the bomb as 'you could appreciate the points more than me'. You know how it is, he could hav easily shot me and taken the points instead but no, he let me do it. The other players were puzzled as to why I should have been the one to defuse and not him but he was quick to defend his decision. Great guy.
