I wouldn't mind if it was snipers picking me off because I've sat in the same spot for too long, but it isn't its sprayers, it's people shooting through walls and guys with pistols on the other side of the map.

I have found (again) my new found appreciation for Sabotage. It's a hell of a lot less stressful when you accept that 90% of games you go into, no one is going to try and plant the bomb, so just go for the kills. I ended up with 40 kills Never do that in Hardcore. Signals are fantastic and host RARELY ends the game. I have a new love

Course it doesn't help panicking about being a red dot on the screen when it goes into sudden death. I soon rectified worrying about being spotted when I promptly killed myself 3 secs into it by cooking a grenade.

I cant seem to play COD4 much these days, not sure whats up with me but I cant seem to hit a barn door with my barrel touching it and I spend most of the levels spawning, dying within 3 feet of my spawn, spawning, dying 3 feet from my spawn, spawning and minnimo stabbing me!

Just all feels like everyone has turned uber-soldier on the game lately and I am pottering about like a level 1 newb!

For better, of for worse, I've decided to give WaW another chance, so last night I had a last hurrah on Modern Warfare. Had some really good games on Showdown, Vacant, Wet Work, District and Chinatown. Many rincings handed out. Finally ended my Modern Warfare career with a K/D ratio of 1.59. Tried to get it to 1.6 but needed another 1000 unanswered kills to do it! Managed to get my number of kills to over 100,000 though.

One thing that I noticed last night as being particularly annoying, that I hadn't really been bothered about previously. When you die and it respawns you right at the back of the map again. Happened a few times on Downpour. We'd start at C and push on towards A. I'd get killed and then respawn back at C, only to have to sprint all the way back to A again. I decided that that was right up there with respawning into the middle of an airstrike that's already killed you once on Shipment.

Got WaW earlier, so I'm going to concentrate on that for a while. If however, it truly p*sses me off then I may try and get to 1.6 and beyond afterall!

I went back to COD4 last night after getting throughly PO'ed with WaW. It is still a much better game IMO and much more of a joy to play.

It really seems as though you'll never kill someone on 4 bars in WaW unless you're on 4 as well. As I seem to mostly be on 3 or 2 I just end up being everyone elses bitch. Hit detection is pretty iffy and whats with the killcam views? I've seen plenty of instances where people have emptied magazines into me at long range with out the slightest tremor in their gun and others firing rifles so rapidly that you'd swear they were machine guns. Maybe it's just the killcams that are wrong, but its very annoying.

Currently my K/D ratio is in freefall.

So all the things that i hated about the Beta are still very much in abundance in the main game?
