i do agree with you, i think people who are poor-average at MW2 should be rewarded for the time in the game.

What i would like to see is -1000xp everytime you kill a team mate in hardcore modes. This would:-

a)make people more aware and carefull

b)stop the damn team killers

1 other thing thats ruining the game for me at the moment is party chat. Many times iv'e been in a lobby with 7 or 8 clan members that have been split between two sides, and if i'm the last player left you can bet your last penny that they'll be telling thier other clan members where i am. So many times iv'e been camping/hiding in a remote place and by no luck, another player has miraculously thrown a grenade in the precise place that i am.

So i want party chat disabled to players in the same game.it's started mass cheating.

Mw itself is an awesome game thats ruined by the people that play it,most of all i would just like more stricter rules/options to prevent such foul play

(sorry,bit of a rant, i had a bad night last night and ended up playing cod:w@w nazi zombies because i was so sick of other players)

^ But then -1000XP is unfair to those who've killed a team mate by accident (crossed into the line of fire, within range of a grenade etc).

I'd like it if those who deliberately team kill are given some kind of mark or icon next to their names to let other players know about them and give other players the power to vote/kick off players in the lobby.

I like the Left 4 Dead policy for voting people off. If they aren't playing as a team or they're just annoying then a majority vote should sort it out.

Ive recently started playing COD4 again (getting ready for HC HQ's next weekend) and I'd forgotten how annoying the Team Killers can be. Last night I was followed from game to game by these two guys hell bent on Team Killing/ ruining my my games. I suppose I shouldn't have Tea Bagged them both three games in a row after dominating them. ahhh well

There's nothing better than getting your revenge on a Team-killer only to see them leave the match

Can we get 6-12 players together tonight for a few games? depending on how many we get we could do 6v6 or 6 of us play on live.

i don't think you should -1000xp for team kill because sometimes it is not on purpose but i do think you should get -50 or something actually taken away.

i also don't think that doing the voting out system would work because you could bet they would be mugs that would just vote out the best players on purpose.

i also don't think that people that aren't good at the game should be punished for it, some people just like having fun and don't really care about k/d and all that craap.

i also find the whole host thing annoying.. when your winning a match and then suddenly.. 'host as left the game' is so annoying !

please can we have more maps ! and what happened to the playlist like second chance search & destory and all that they were talking about ?

I think that they will be putting most of the proposed stuff for the first Modern Warfare onto the Second one (except talk of Hardcore HQ).

When the next one comes out, it is likely that many gaming modes from WaW will make an appearance in MW2.

As for the -1k xp I would say noooooo. I think that a great way to put off team killers would be to give players -50xp (as one poster said earlier) and if 20% of kills were towards their team mates, they should have all xp earned on a single match to be replaced with a big, fat ZERO!

Only just started playing this again after hearing about the double XP and new HQ. I like the new mode. Just something as simple as making an old mode hardcore makes the game feel fresh again to me. Would be good to see them doing the same to Free For All, Sabotage and Domination although something tells me that won't happen. I must admit I've been guilty of more team killing this weekend than I would do in weeks on other modes! Took some getting used to.

You can tell you've been playing too much Left 4 Dead though when you start trying to kill enemies who are near their teammates in last stand for the sole reason that you're trying to stop them reviving them Also found myself pressing B to reload wayyyyy too much and hopping around fire because I was thinking I'd be set alight lol.

i just got it Yesterday and its great and so much to learn!, i know ill be going against the grain here but i enjoyed COD WAW more than im enjoying COD 4 online, i think this is because im a newbie and i dont know the maps very well and most others are so experienced on them and know where to hide, snipe etc... and just seems much harder !

I think it's because it's what your're used to. I was the same with WAW. After playing 4 for so long then WAW, i tried to give it a fair crack but i just couldn't get into it and am back on 4.
I think you'll find the smaller maps better. You don't have to jog miles after you re-spawn. On the other hand sometimes you re-spawn right next to an enemy and die again.

Been playing it online for a few hours now and got to level 17 since i starting last night ( i know thats prob crap compared to all of you that have had it for ages but im happy with that and enjoying alot more than i thought i would) , im loving hardcore HQ and search and destroy...

Not sure if it's been posted before. But with the team killing and the -xp thing. They could do what was on call of duty 3 where you could punish or forgive players. 3 strikes and your out. I'm really suprised it wasn't included from the start.

I forgot all about that from COD 3. Would be a good system to include for definite. Although I'd be tempted to raise it to 5 especially for games like HCHQ cos it's too easy to team kill Say with an airstrike, or you could just turn it off for things like airstrikes.

Well after months of playing with randoms I finally got some team games on COD4 yesterday.

It was good playing with you all and nice to have squad mates who could a) understand me and b) moan along about the dodgy connections with.

I had good fun yesterday as well. It wasn't as bad as I remembered it (lag wise) although there were still some issues. But this time I wasn't ready to throw xbox out the window

I had fun and it felt really familiar. Couple of months break must have been just what the doctor ordered. I think it will be a long time before that game dies away completely. Just from the sheer amount of people still registered as online yesterday. And that's well over a year later.
