It did come as a shock, as soon as the game started I had to wait another 20 seconds to respawn because of you! lol.

Went to another couple of shops today and none of them had a headset!! So just ordered one off Amazon so I should have one in the next two to three working days! Oh and Minni I also ordered some points to get those extra maps like you asked

What time are people going on tonight? I finish work at 6ish, then my beloved Liverpool are playing at 7:45 so I may be on before and by the time the game has finished people will have gone I assume?

I most definitely did NOT ask you to get those maps! I asked if you were EVER getting those maps as a way of making conversation with you. However! If I had known I have the power over you to go out and buy things, I could've put this information to good use!

I do want the extra maps and being as I can play with everyone here now its a great time and reason to get them. Although I hate creek!! I also dislike Ambush and after last night I dont like Crash!! I got shot 9 times in a row before getting a kill because everytime I spawned, I spawned by an opponent and got shot before I could do anything! argh!!

Ooooh I forgot about Chinatown, but that's only because on Sunday / Monday I actually managed to have full evenings without even seeing it come up in rotation!

Creek is just the bees knees if you can get in the cave to camp! But if you don't then you're screwed because you're sniped from every which way

Update: Loving bog! I actually do quite well on that now. Loving downpour when you spawn at the right side of the map! I hate that I got a helicopter and a wee shit decided to team kill me just as I called it in. Was NOT a happy bunny

It may have it's faults [note - I've grumbled about them often enough], the developers may have been a let down in the DLC department, but it's still a fantastic game even after all this time. IMHO.

I can't get the hang of the game type I play team tac alot.

i'm not really a fan of the hardcore HQ either, i love playing team tac, thats all i really play but i actually can't stand the sabotage mode !

even tho so many still prefare cod4 to waw how hard would it be to add a few more maped even if there just revamped from older cod games

I got the new map pack for WAW over the weekend as I had points to spare.

The maps themselves are very good, and IMO, are more consistent than the quality of the maps released for CoD4. However, playing the game over the weekend has reaffirmed my view that it's simply not as good as Modern Warfare. The weapons are woeful by comparison, except of course when I'm being shot by one of them. Five rounds from the BAR to the face, he still stands. One shot into my toe, from halfway across the map from a pistol, and I'm dead.....

Played it for about half an hour and then just put Modern Warfare back in.

WaW isn't a bad game, it's just not as good as MW.

This is a problem that i still have with the WaW. The pistol is overpowered and can be used at range.

Theres nothing worse than snipering some guy from 200 yards just to see him go into last stand,slowly spin round and shoot you down with his pistol. 1 shot

Although i do think WaW is better than MW after this week.

better maps,better support,better dlc (more on its way) additon of zombies,and 15 second delay on noob tubes and -200 points for bomb plant killers.

and imo the guns are better,i very rarely get sprayed in WAW.the rifle is king.

WaW certainly has things working in its favour. The maps are nicely varied, the DLC has been good, the zombie mode is superb. However, there's plenty working against it as well. Weak or mismatched weapons, tanks, attack dogs.

For me, CoD4 edges it. The weapons are better, the maps, despite being older than the WaW ones, still offer great fun for the most part. I've yet to find anything on WaW that usurps the M4 Carbine, nor the Dragunov.

Still, it's not a bad game, it's just that I prefer MW myself. It's interesting that MW is still riding high in the online charts, even after all this time, and after WaW was released. You have to wonder whether WaW will hang around so doggedly once MW2 gets released this Autumn. Personally, I doubt it.
