^^ I neglected to say, we'd already taken the flags.
Campers are irritating fcukers who sit there around one flag when the team are losing ![]() Although I do find it amusing when your team mates aren't happy with 2 flags and go after the 3rd. That's just asking for trouble. |

Either i'm on a team that tries to lock down every flag and leaves flags un-defended or i'm on a team that seems to be happy camping just 1 flag and killing people who try to capture it. ![]() I wish they had WAR mode from W@W. That would be ace on MW |

Well at least it's on MW2.
![]() Weird, in my experience we usually capture 2 of the 3 flags but never then go on to get the 3rd. Keeping the 3rd flag open directs where they'll respawn, ie. close to the final flag. As soon as you take it they could spawn anywhere. |

Were greedy. We take all the glory. Having them spawn in different places leaves the game a lot less predictable, instead of the same old tripe.

Sometimes it does get a little shady, if you push them all the way back to the point where you end up spawn-killing.
The worst example I've found of this is on District. The house next to A where you can run up the steps. In that room there's another room just off to the side. I was in the far doorway looking towards A and people were just respawning in the little room off to the side. The first couple of times I took them out, largely because I didn't know they were spawning there. When I twigged I just say there watching and another one materialised. After taking him out, I moved away as it was getting ridiculous. |

Bloody World at War sucks balls.
Ive searched 4 times for a HC TD and each time it politely informs me that I dont have the map-pack. YES, TREYARCH. I DONT HAVE YOUR STUPID MAP PACK AND HAVE NO INTENTION OF GETTING IT, SO SEARCH THE GAMES THAT DONT F*CKING REQUIRE IT!! Honestly, its going back to games like these that make me appreciate the finely tuned COD4:MW and IWs ability to code something properly, even if they didnt support it as we thought they should have. One more search, and if it buggers me off one more time, Im back on COD4:MW. |

I like playing ground war as it's quite chaotic, I'm not overly a tactic based player unless I'm doing a clan match. I think I'll try search and destroy tonight once the missus has passed out from the cider.

Went on again early in the morning this morning, and it happened 3 times in a row. Seriously annoying.
Might get onto them about it. Cheers Tom. |

I dug COD4 out yesterday afternoon and had an absolute blast playing it with a few mates. Getting to see Ambush, Downpour, Backlot and the other again was like going home.
Even with a fair few idiots running around trying to quickscope with M40A3 sniper rifles it was still massive fun to play and graphically certainly didn't look too shabby in comparison to Black Ops. Though maybe thats more of an indication of how little Treyarch have moved their graphics forward from WaW. I didn't even bother to break out the MP5, I was happy enough running around with my inaccurate but very pretty gold AK-47.

I'm on a break from BlOps at the moment.
When I go back to CoD, which will be soon, it'll be back to CoD4 I think. It just never fails to deliver. |

Funny this thread appearing today, picked cod 4 up today along with MW2. Gonna make a start on the single player modes because my gamerscore is zero. Forza 3 and Alan Wake is on my hit list over the next few week.

Still love a game of COD4 now and again, cant snipe in it for toffee though for some reason, and cant settle on a gun I really love - although I'm not too bad at sniping in MW2

Still the best COD for sure, for single and multiplayer, im currently on 10th prestige level 35, almost there. I always spend a few months on the latest COD at release then end up going back to it so i need to make it to 55 by November, easy!

Yeah COD4 was definitely the high water mark for gaming + DS chatting about the gaming. I think WaW put a fair few off and MW2 never really got them back, plus the forums on here don't feel as engaged any more.
And some people are definitely missed...
