Completed the game last night in Hardened, I feared that the Chernobyl level would take me forever but I made it eventually. Don't think I'll bother with Veteran though.

saying that i came second in Headquarters 3 times in a row this morning since i moved from the MP5 with red dot scope,so the new gun must be helping,that and i got through 2 levels of martydom challenges in one game

I've been playing COD4 since its release and have switched between all the assault weapons as i can't really decide on a clear cut winner.

As a general interest what guns and perks is everyone using??

I use the MP4 (gun below the AK47 in assault weapons)

Perk 1: Claymore (Just started using and they get lots of kills)

Perk 2: Sonic Boom

Perk 3: Martyrdom

Perks are probably in the wrong order!!

I eventually got round to picking up this game last week and all I can say is that it's frigging amazing. I'm still only playing the single player as I'm scared sh*tless of playing it online. I'm not up for for holding the record for most amount of spawns in one game!

But seeing as i just lost everything on Prestige, im using anything whenever i can as i unlock things again.

M4 Carbine and MP5 are probably my favourites at the minute though.. Skorpion is excellent on vacant!!



Meanwhile, id like to apologise to Minnimo, Woodsmonk and JediScho for suddenly dropping out of the game last night, wasnt my fault though.. Virgin went completely dead from its Broadband to Video on Demand services and all their contact telephone numbers were dead lol

I used to really stick with my Mp40 (i think ) but then unlocked the larger gun that shoots loads of bullets but takes years to reload and i've been winning ALOT more matches (im still 2 losses to 1 win ratio).

Not for long! His connection was going a bit wonky on him!

Nice to see him in the game again though! Even if he did kill me masses of times

1) I know how he feels.

2) He kept killing me loads as well (mind you I got my revenge)

I think I fixed part of my connection issues, my NAT settings were set to restricted but it's now open. But it seems come 6pm till midnight each night my connection goes real slow making playing online impossible.

Myself and one of my house mates are trying to work out if it's an issue with the telephone exchange or someone else in the house using up the bandwidth. I will hopefully try and solve the issue asap and get back on with you guys

Almost sounds like they are restricting your services during peak-time hours?
Are you with Virgin Media by any chance as they have traffic managing that drop your speeds if you use too much bandwidth during peak time.

I wouldn't worry to much about that Yeti I die all the time (well someone has to be the worst player) and can regularly be found propping up leaderboards.

Just a quick online question. When using the martyrdom perk, do you still drop a grenade when you die even if you have thrown them all?
