I wasn't having a dig. I thought you guys were talking about having problems with both so I added my experience last night.

well this sounds promising
i just saw this on the cvg website " Now that most of the hiccups have been sorted, The Bitbag reports that Microsoft will be compensating their paying Xbox Live Gold subscribers for the problems. An unnamed Microsoft contact told the site: "we will definitely be doing something for our Gold members that weren't able to get online over the last week." My brothers benn playing it fine everyday too since christmas. (on the 360)
He was absolutely terrible at first (like my mrs) but the best advice i gave him was to play single player first. He did this and he was a different gamer after 2 days. Just got a message off him this morning to say he's completed it now. So to anyone who thinks they are crap, play single player first!!! (Maybe i should use my own advice too lol)

Managed to complete Mile High Club yesterday for the small gamerpoint amount. That's nothing compared to the feeling of completing one of the most ridiculous levels ever (along with One Shot, One kill - "we're heavily outnumbered!")

Hows Xbox LIVE going then guys? running like clockwork? U seem to be getting on quite abit now Minnimo - seems ur OH doesnt mind too much?
Oh yeh guys MS are releasing virtual reliaty goggles for the 360. Lets hope they'll work for COD4 ![]() ![]() ![]() The Vuzix VR920 virtual reality goggles—which sense the position of your head and let you "look" around a game in real time—are already available for the PC, but the Xbox 360 version will be making its debut in Vegas at the CES on January 7th. The gamers at Ars Technica had a blast with the PC version of the VR920, so I'm eager to try the 360-optimized headset at the show. No word yet on which games (Halo 3, COD4 please?) will work with the goggles. Click here too see what there like. Looking good!

They look pretty cool. I wonder what the resolution is like?
Reminds me of my old olympus eye trek's i had for the ps2. Best purchase i ever made. You could lay in bed / on the couch flat on your back playing for hours (ooer) with the sound cranked. Great for socom...bit dodgy with a headset though.

Ok its for the PC but...
"New from Vuzix: VR920 Introducing the Vuzix VR920, winner of the 2007 CES innovations award. Featuring 640x480 VGA progressive scan LCDs with a 32 degree field of view this is our most immersive big screen experience yet. Designed with the PC gamer in mind, the VR920 includes a built in microphone and 3 degree of freedom head tracker allowing for the definitive online interactive gaming experience. The VR920’s twin hi-res displays mean that it can flaunt your favorite virtual worlds in full 3D. Weighing a mere 3 ounces this comfortable and non-intrusive iWear is VR done right. Step inside the game." |

Been playing this for a couple of weeks on and off and just finished it! Amazing game, will start on a harder level and try to get some more Intels.
This and Bishock (I have CoD4 on ps3) have really grabbed me as never wanted to play an FPS before. Loving online random free-for-alls. Best game I have played in yonks! |

I've played the game online for the past 2 months and only yesterday did I discover the mounted machine gun in "Ambush" hidden in the small building.
- I only came across the hidden ladder in pipeline last week, I was well impressed with that

For some reason when I try to go online it takes ages for it to find a room and then it just hangs when looking for people to join the room.
I have a PS3 and had no other problems playing warhawk/rainbow 6:vegas/skate/motorstorm all online fine on the PS3 but I have tried last night and this morning but still it just does not go into the game online. Is this due to the servers that I have read about or do I need to port forward a particular port I have a New BT Black Box wireless router but am hard wired to the router. Thanks for any advice. |
