Had a great time with C4 last night. I was Last Man standing on Search & Destroy on Strike against 2 people. I planted both my C4 on A and hid at B.

I heard the "bomb has been planted message" detonated the C4, blew them both up and strolled in to defuse.

(Pity we lost 4-1, though)

How do you use the C4?

Wait til it appears as a perk, select it.
Then in game you press <-- to bring it out, like RPGs and Claymores. Then you chuck it or stick it to a wall.
Then when you have your normal weapon back on you can double tap Square anytime to detonate it.
You can hold the detonator instead, but I don't see the point.

You select it using the d-pad & then plant it with left trigger (it doesn't go very far so be near the target you want it to stick to).

Detone by tapping the reload button twice.

Ah left trigger, I was running around using the right trigger wondering what was supposed to be happening, what an idiot Thanks for the explanation I shall enjoy blowing everyone up now.

Oscar I had the same problem as you with the C4. Could never work the blasted thing.

Last night I decided to give it a go to complete a challenge or two. And I have to say in Vacant for HQ's it was the best thing ever! In the wee square open space when the HQ's went in there, I threw it in there and run away, detonated it, and killed about 3 people! Did it again and got another kill. Was fab!

Although I still need to get used to it because I managed to blow myself (and Jedi once!) up with the bloomin' things!!

Yeah i can imagine C4 being brilliant for head quarters matches. Does it disappear everytime you die like claymores?

im on for doing my 4th time doing my level ups but my problem is if someone trys to add me to there game it wont let join them ive not been able to since the last proper update its a failer everytime might have to use my other psn account spaceballs123 to join my mates for a game

has anyone else have this problem?

I've had this problem, its not a bug as far as i'm aware though. It's simply because your friend has invited you to the game, and by the time you have got the invite and responded, the game has filled up. So it errors out.

it is a bug for me as everyone tries to add me for gaming but wont me let in and when they try and add me into there clan buddy list ready for gaming its the same aswell this is what im talking about

I had a quick go on a free-for-all last night. I was surprised that there was a 20 minute time limit, but then realised that it's basically for power-levelling! People take it in turns to stand in front of spawn point blasting the bejesus out of whoever appears.. I suppose that why you see all those really highly ranked players on standard games who are totally rubbsih!

I love cod4 and play it whenever I get the chance, when hubby or kids aren't on it that is. It would be nice to see a few DS members in the game lobby ready for action

I Got to the End of 55 and decided to go for it and go for Prestige mode so no guns for me apart from the standard Lvl 1 Ones,but its all about the challenge

I went for prestige. I'm up to level 40 now. i doubt i will do it again unless i manage to complete all the challenges. Might go for that golden gun

Lets just say i was convinced to do it by Sinner,the way i see it it keeps the challenge up for longer

Some of the guns you start with are better than the some of those you unlock later.

A silenced AK47 is probably the best stealth weapon as the power is as good as most SMGs. I prefer it now to a silenced G36C as the extra accuracy doesn't seem to help much & it's much weaker than the AK.

The MP5 is my favourite SMG, although the P90 comes a very close second. Without stopping power the P90 is useless so the MP5 is more versatile.

Yeah I wasn't gonna re rank again either, thought about completing the challenges. But then I figured the challenges will be waiting on me when I finally reach whatever one I eventually stick at!

I'm actually quite addicted to the MP5 at the moment. That and the M4Carbine.
